I said check the history of Schumi and Ferrari, not Schumi on Ferrari.... I know my F1 history dude, lets discuss the issues raised, not how we phrase the sentences.

Race Prediction - Melbourne

So guys, after two races down the lane, next up - Melbourne. So who do u think are the favourites?? Again hopefully Ferrari would be back, and McLaren esp. Kimi will have more luck. By the way looks like a few cars will be running on newer engines..

As karthik247 said most car's would have new engines; and new aero parts at least for Ferrari, McLaren and BMW who are forced to do so by FIA.

Ferrari is out of pace and would be out of the podium fighting in the midfield with BMW, Redbull and Toyota. May be Schumi will pull a magic lap in qualifying, but down the race they will fade.

As seen the pace so far podium should be shared between Renault, McLaren and Williams.

But Flavio's statement "We can win with any driver" confirms that he has started supressing Alonso (we have seen Truli in 2004 and Fisi in 2005). If Flavio thinks Fisi has to be ahead of Alonso, for sure none from Renault would be in the podium. Flavio has started digging below his own feet.

Putting all down we can expect a direct fight between Kimi , Montoya, Webber and Nico...
i would go for
1) KIMI
2) MONTOYA
3) NICO / WEBBER (Hard to decide)

If the first 2 races are any indication, I think Alonso will defenitely make it to the podium. Just hope Kimi/Montoya give him a better fight this time...

Cheers!!!

Maybe its something to do with the fact that Alonso will be moving on to McLaren next season....?

I do agree with your race prediction for Melbourne, Kimi will take podium

Here goes my prediction for the Aussie GP-
1) Alonso
2) Kimi
3) Schumi
Renault will be strong as always and i think Mclaren too will be on the pace this time. But can't really say about Ferrari.

Reliability??? McLaren is a team which did not have an engine change or engine failure till now. Renault, Ferrari, Williams, Redbull, BMW, Toyota have already tasted it.....
