He must have damaged it a few corners before he crashed. If u notice the corner before which he crashed, he was twitching his way out of the corner and when he braked for the next corner the back end lost control and thats how he spun. Also heard Goodwin/Slater say it was the suspension..

You need a fast and reliable car if strategy is to play a part in the final result. Ferrari's cars certainly don't have those qualities at the moment.

Haan so, Kimi had a brush with Klien on Turn 5. No sympathies.

First things first....Mercedes made their engine last two of the most gruelling races on the calender where as ferrari, Renault, Cosworth and BMW have not.

As for the race, its a pity retired so early. he could definitely have provided some fireworks and possibly ensured more points for Mclaren. Alonso drove a very solid race yet again but it was Fisichella's day today.

Renault seem to be clearly head and shouldaers above everyone else for now and there is absolutely no reason why they cannot let this trend continue.

whats all this controversy about ferrari's front wing ???

they showed on screen the front wing moving slightly into different positions on the straight .. and on the curves ... on the straight there was a slight gap between the nose and the wing ... which lets it go faster down the striaght .. and it closes up on the curves ...
other teams speculate it's mechanically controlled and say its illegel.

surely ferrari can't be stupid enough to do something illegal ???

Wow, you might wanna check history of Schumi and Ferrari, Schumi stole championship from Damon Hill, by banging into him, tried to do the same with Jacques but was disqualified for the season. Ferrari didnt let other cars compete in Indianapolis last year with a chicane as they wanted to win, Irvine had won the championship in Ferrari only to be disqualified as Ferrari didnt meet F1 car spec standards and they had cheated. They have been always in question of using illegal aids, like traction control built in to ECU. They also complained in 2003 against Michelins, stating that the tread of the tyres should me measured before and after the race and the rulez were changed midway to accomodate Ferraris demand. This comes as no surprise that they made the front wing move...
At the present time they are under investigation and both their cars might be disqaulified.

Or they are confident that they'll get away with it...and knowing Mosley they probably will!

Which championship? Which year? Eddie joined Ferrari in 1997 and he got only one shot at championship only in 1999.
Ferraris of both Eddie and Michael were disqualified due to illegal bodywork but were reinstated.
Mika won in Japan and Eddie scored only 4 points in that race.
76- Mika and 74 - Eddie.

nuthin is gonna happen about the ferrari's.. even if it is illegal.. it will be said they didnt gain any advantage so it doesnt matter..

as for rest of the runners.. great race for renault, fisi was just goin faster and faster every lap, great race by alonso to come up the order and finish in second, jenson held on to the final podium, cant say barrichello can drive like him inpite him being in the same car.. bad luck for williams, i was looking forward to seeing a good race by rosberg after his amazing debut in Bahrain.. guess williams have to have an engine to last 2 races.. Kimi unlucky again.. not happening for him..

well michael's one pit stop strategy didnt really work for him.. cant say much about the rest of the drivers.. they pretty much drove an average race..

Boy, all my hopes came down like nine pins with Kimi into the walls in the first lap..Klien bumped into Kimi coz of which he had a suspension failure and into the tyrewall he went.....Really frustrating.

Giancarlo drove a great race to win and he really deserved it.

Hope Australia will be a more fun race!

a detailed discussion on this also couldn't change your views.
michelin attired teams came with the wrong tyres, why should ferrari not race?

I agree with you on that. It was Michelin's fault and tht dosen't mean all the Bridgestone users have to adjust to suit them. They didn't get the right set of tyres and so paid the price for it.
