What about Insurance-claim? But, how exactly did it break?

Civic Tyre upgrade

My Civic-Auto has done 28K. Two of my OEM tyres, GoodYear Eagle NCT5 are bald. I have short-listed two: 1) Michelin MXV8 OEM size 195/65 R15, 2) Michelin PP2 205/60 R15. My brain wants MXV8 but my heart wants PP2! I want to keep my stock alloys, so only 15 inches is my choice.

any ideas to clear my confusion?

What are you looking for? Comfort or Performance?

Now that is the problem. I want comfort for say 80% of my driving time. I want perfomance for the other time. (In short, I want to have my cake and eat it too! )But is PP2 very low on comfort? I will be doing a lot of hill driving, so more biased towards PP2. At the same time I am presently hypermiling (16 kmpl max on an Auto) most of the time, so want to go in for MXV8.

Though I want to go for MXV8, the devil in me wants to go for the PP2 .

I change my gears this way..
1st to 2nd: 23km/h ..... 14 or 15 in traffic to avoid jerks
2nd to 3rd: 40
3rd to 4th: 65
5th: 90+
Yes, I too follow this now to feel the 130+ BHP engine.

So I guess you need to keep the clutch down for sometime to bring RPM down to 700 or 600. Without that engine will start vibrating at 10km/h on 2nd gear. Anyway, let me try this

PP2 is not uncomfortable as such, just that compared to the Energy's it lacks on the comfort quotient. Only drawback is that there is quite a bit of road noise of bad roads.

You need to give us more data to work with mate. Like, KMs run, any recent changes you made (different fuel pump for ex.) etc.

For instance - Yesterday I filled up 20 Litre & that gave me only 98Km of drive & Today I filled 10 litre & It has given me 56Km of drive, Weird
I haven't selected any specific petrol pump, I just fill up from all pumps & normal fuel.

Ps: Car is a manual transmission & above mileage was given in city driving(Sometimes with high acceleration)

Something else must be wrong. My Civic-AT at worst in ghat-roads gives at-least 7+ kmpl, at best on highways gives 15+ kmpl

You need to go over many things like:
1)Your air pressure.
2) Recently serviced means better. (your air filter may be dirty, etc).
3) unnecessary weight.
4) Petrol pump cheating, etc

1)Air pressure I check every second day (30Psi).
2)Air filter Is clean.
3)No unneccessary weight is there on car.
4)Can't comment.

Sometimes fuel points(In fuel gauge) shows, lets assume Fuel shows 5points(10 litre) after sometimes it shows 6points(12litre) & sometime vice versa.

what is stopping you from taking it to Honda. Its going to cost you almost nothing. Let them analyse it and then you can ask if the members here if they think the analysis is justified or not.

Check your brake rotors too. Sometimes if they are jammed, it can also lead to poor mileage.
Also check if the car is doing the same speeds in the the same gear at the same rpm that it used to do earlier.
Is there a drop in pickup.
When was the last service done.
Is the clutch good, does it grab well.
