I am also looking to install the cabin air filter. Will be calling Mars (Mumbai) if they stock it. I will try installing it myself. Will keep posted on how that one goes.
Happy Dassera Gentlemen!!!

Local auto AC guy removed the blower without removing the glove box. It was really easy. The blower was filled with leaves and what not. After cleaning it, the noise is gone!

The next is clutch replacement and taking care of brake caliper rattle. For the brake caliper rattle, I'm not sure whether A*S*S would be able to do it. They did a break "cleaning and refitting" during the last service.

Good to know that the issue is resolved. Did you get the cabin air filter installed as well, that would go a long way in keeping the blower clean.

I too had an issue of calliper rattle. The local Mitsubishi champ here dismantled the assembly and refilled the pin sleeve with a 'hard' grease meant for such applications, been silent since. Damage was 100/- or 150/- I doubt if the A.S.C. would be that economical.

I'm yet to find a "Raju" in Ahmedabad! I'll buy TRW pads and find a good mechanic this weekend. Hope he understands the 'hard grease' magic.

In my case it took two-three visits and over a year to get rid of the caliper pin noise.
Several rubber bellows and pins were replaced during this period.
Yes. Expensive affair, but I am glad that A.S.S. was able to fix it (initial assessment by them of changing the entire caliper bracket was wrong - and expensive as well).

Those rubber parts and the pins are not available in outside market unless you can show them the sample.

re: Its White, its Sports and its a Mitsubishi Cedia - 1.4L km up & new S-drives!

I have a 6 year old Cedia still going strong. While on the 80k service - the service advisor has told me that both the brake pads need replacement (there was a noise coming from the rear while braking). Previously - both the pads were replaced at 37k kms following which the front one's were again replaced at 58k kms. Right now the car has done 83k kms - so this means the current front sets have done ~25k kms while the rear one's have done ~46k kms.

I got a quote of ~17k including labor for both set replacement from the service centre - a third party garage (CarZ) has given me a quote of ~8k for them (some taiwan brand - he doesnt have TRW).

How does the quote sound like ? Also any other reliable garage for Mitsubishi in Bangalore ? And where can i source TRW pads here ?

re: Its White, its Sports and its a Mitsubishi Cedia - 1.4L km up & new S-drives!

I am replacing front brake pads today, and the estimate from a neighborhood Bosh service center is:
Brake pads 2130
Brake oil 180
Labour charges 550

Other than this, am also replacing the steering ball joints and steering tie rods since the steering makes a tak - tak sound when taking turns on rough roads.

Steering ball joint pair 1839
Steering TIE rod end 2690
Labor charges 750

Vat extra

This is a BOSCH authorized service center, in Nalstop Pune.

I am finally getting it done in Bay 6 - approx quote is 4.5k including labor. Might need disc skimming as well - will update once done.

Good to know about this service center. Are they able to source all parts from somewhere?

edit: Brake pads seem to be quite cheap (this is for the front set, right?)

This is only for the front pair of brake pads.
Regarding the source, I dont know, but they are claiming to use OEM parts. When I collect the car today, I intend to thoroughly verify their claim by asking for part numbers and manufacturer names, as well as raise the car on ramp and check the actual parts.

re: Its White, its Sports and its a Mitsubishi Cedia - 1.4L km up & new S-drives!

I talked to my garage on the phone, he gave me the same model number
NS 243H FF AK

So these seem genuine if you also got the same and are using them for past one and half years.

He also said the same thing, it comes in original mitsubishi packing and he doesnt know the vendor name.

If this is the price then please ask your guy to source some more, There will be several Bhpian Cedia owners who will want them.

Brake pad model number NS243H FF AK. There are 4 pieces of these. 2 on each front wheel.

It's White, it's Sports and it's a Mitsubishi Cedia - 189,000 km done! Edit: Sold!-20141016_175737.jpg

Old compared to new. The old one was worn down to almost nothing.
