By the looks of it Honda only looks at the odometer and the time be **whatever. This is true of most ASSes. I doubt whether the AT fluid has been changed so far. Will check. All service invoices are on this thread. The bill si paid online, and the details are on the site.

Finally got the invoice for the service on 23 July at Gurugram.

Incl AT fluid change the cost of the 40k service was 7326 with Synth oil. Unfortunately the viscosity was not specified.

Got the engine mount changed. Total cost 10292. It was not covered under warranty even though it is accepted as an Honda defect. Within ten days the problem went from a small one to a nearly unmanageable one.

I must complement Honda corporate for extremely prompt action.

Hi
Is there anyone specific that you connect to in the Honda Corp Office. I have been pretty unhappy with the pedesterian service I have received on my Accord (2011 2.4 AT) from them and the fact that there seems to be no recourse
Happy to receive a PM in case you would prefer that way

Nobody specific. I have had need to talk to them twice or thrice and managed quite happily.

Re: Honda Civic V AT Alabaster Silver

My son sent the car to Infinity Honda, Gurugram since Pearl had lost their franchise. Had a very good experience. They even had some clips in stock which were not available with Pearl Honda, Gurugram as well as Pushp Honda, Kanpur. This was fortunate since they had ordered for someone else. He went to Ghai Auto to get the rear view mirror for all of Rs.180.

Now his Engine Mounts were again noisy. Replaced. Infinity Honda hinted that the old mounts (replaced by Pearl Honda) may have been duplicates. Also, disc brake pads, total damages 25,000.

Sir, can you please post how much did they charge for the mounts?

Thanks,
Saket

Re: Honda Civic V AT Alabaster Silver

Finally sold the car after almost 11 years, and 93000km. No real niggles. A new car is on the way. Had to replace the brake pads only once. The disappearance of the Civic V is sad.

Only spares were expensive. Other than that I will regret the loss of the Civic.

GTO please close this thread.
