Can't seem to remember right now, Rudra. Will definitely ask him the next time he visits Bangalore.

I just noticed that the strut-brace is missing in Rohin's photos.

Here are a few pictures of an Audi A8 with RS spec wheels. I think I might have posted these pictures in another thread a few years ago.

And that Palio. Well, what can I say. Simple things like that Italian flag theme wouldn't cost much, but it would instantly transform the car. There are quite a few of them on the forum these days. Still.. it's brilliant!

EDIT: BTW, those 15" BBS wheels on the Palio were once worn by a really hot-footed City that I'd gotten familiar with! A little bit of nostalgia in that, for me!

Glad u like the car. The wheels on the S10 are brand new and not the same as the city. Same design tho, but my car sports genuine 98pcd wheels.

The 98pcd wheels were bought with great difficulty on special order, after a wait of several months. Kindly confirm before you post such info reg used sets. :)

P.S- the italian flag is painted, not a vinyl. Actually, the whole car was treated to a scrape down, windows out resto, just like my other classics.

Owned by a fellow tbhpian JayD, and this is one of the simplest restoration he has ever done. Check his profile/signature :)

Thanks KP!! And yeah, this has to be the easiest ones ive done!

Since the Honda City has a PCD of 100, I suppose those alloys are too?

S10s seem to be blooming here & there in Kochi. And that IS a good thing!

The alloys on the city are 100PCD.
The ones in my car are 98 PCD.

Same design tho.

Lotsa s10s getting reborn in cochin now. A welcome change from the citys and the swifts!!clap:

Here is a picture of that particular City and it's BBS wheels. These pictures are at least 8 years old. This car was based in Kerala before it went up in smoke.

After the sale, the kid cranked up the boost and floored it repeatedly resulting in a blown gasket and internals. The engine went up in blue smoke. :(

Actually, it was not the owner, but his friend who blew up the engine. The car was then rebuilt by leela, but it was never as good as its older avtaar.

Its changed hands several times, and the condition has been steadily going down.

Its now for sale witn a dealer, last heard. Wheels and all... The extras on the car i think will be worth more than the car.

I am pretty sure that suhaas mentioned, that the city wore a similar set of wheels, where did he mention that those wheels came off the OHC?

Sorry JayD, akshay4587 is right. That is indeed what I'd meant. I understand your confusion because it does sound like I was referring to yours as a used-set. What I meant was that it's the same choice of wheels, not the same set. Looking at the wheels on your Palio made me remember the time I spent with this City. :)

Excellent work JayD. The best part about the car is the colour scheme. This is why I have a soft-spot for cars like Mini Coopers.

Sad to hear that. Someone should trace the car and pick up those wheels. They're delicious!

Is this in Cochin? That bridge kind of look very familiar? Wish he had gone for the black although it's common.

Must be Cochin. Not sure about the location. It belongs to the same guy who owns the F430 (with Scuderia stripes) in Thrissur!

Ive seen this car lurking around in my campus many times although from the past few days not a sign of him. Very well done up interiors too. Black leather with red lining iirc.

Looks like everyone on this forum is in their sweet sixteens. We are young souls trapped in older bodies :p

Here my contribution to the thread - Alto Transform ! Lxi-CNG & Wagon-R BLING - 2007 Lxi. Alto was easy but wagon was completely repainted with Pearl Metallic White (Pure) original paint was a boring wine red got it done for a friend who was ecstatic with the results. Look at the Short Video for how it looks on the move http://youtu.be/AnfrM8vs7O4

(Looks 10 times better than in these pics!)

Saw it in Calicut today. You're right, it does look amazing in the metal!

You've got to hand it to him for being different and for taking the risk to try out an altogether different route on the Matt/vinyl wrap concept.

Just a few bits, but looks good.

While at the signal I had a quick chat with him. Was surprised to know that the car was covered in vinyl, never looked like it though. Perfectttt to the last T, the stickering job done.

Well done indeed. Just what I was searching for. Any pointers on
shops who do this
how much does this cost..have Manza
how long does this last
any drawbacks?

I am surprised at the post as I didn't find any modifications on the car. At best they look suitable for 'show your allow wheels' thread.
Or am I missing something.

Does the Laura come in this shade from the factory. If not, Skoda should consider this shade. They have a real boring list of shades to choose from. Except for the Red.

That's the classiest looking Cruze I have seen. But it should lose the spoiler. Now!!

I don't know why but I am a sucker for Red Audi's. They look simply stunning in that shade. There's 1 Red Audi I see frequently parked near Mount Mary.
