Yes.. I am aware of it.. but was thinking of trying it by applying just one coat and that too from a distance of 15-16 inches so that it doesn't become opaque..

some more final touches have to be given.. will post the final pics soon..
Also tried it on some of the scratches. Works well. But the quantity is very less. Finished whole can on one wing mirror and some scratches. Ordered some more today.

Ya absolutely, the quantity is very less.

Specially for the first timer, when you waste some in getting used to it.

But works well.

One query though,Can i buy only the Paint can not the clearcoat?

sunny, the other can is not a clearcoat. its a thinner/solvent used to
1. spray and wipe away the com paint stuff if you mess it up(without seriously affecting the OE paintjob)
2. spray over the comp paint coat , which tends to be a bit granular, and dissolve it and smoothen it out.

a clearcoat is available seperately

zerocritical next time you paint anything on the car be it the tail lamp or the ORVM, take them off the car. it will be easier than masking that way. wont take much of an effort to take out the tail lamp just 2 screws thats it!!

touched up two more wheel arches, and the can gave up. Still have the thinner left.
the site really should give an option to buy just the paint. Am not sure if this is economical. how much would touching up the wheel arch scratches cost elsewhere ?

update. went to the show. they were showing using it on some household articles. didnt see how the final finish would be. I asked them about shade matching, and they said that for touch ups it woulsnt be too important. I kept bugging them for a shade chart and they finally said it should be available at their shop.

The good part? 400 ml of the paint costs 150/175 (solid/metallic) - thats half the price of com paint. they also have clear laquer. going to wait till my next scratch to try it out
