@Hrman: He gets it done from somewhere near south Bangalore. That is the same stitching house that GSport uses. I have been told so by my friend, and I cannot fully back his statement.
However, that guy appears genuine and takes the pain of explaining all the different materials to you. For eg. he refused to do my friend's gearboot in art-leather, saying that it doesn't fit properly. He has a whole range of art-leather and leather as well.

Signet -- 5500 INR
Luster -- 7500 INR
Perforatd -- 9500 INR

What say guys ? Is it VFM or i have to look at other alternatives.

These are good. I went for Signet for my SX4 and from last one year no complaint. But yes One in a month I give leather and vinyl treatment.
Don't try perforated ones as these becomes dirty very fast specially when you have kids eating in car :(

Its the new shop started in pattom junction beside the petrol pump.There was two display seats which was fitted with the signet variant.It was looking not bad though! The fit was tight and looking good.

They told me that i will have to wait for 3-4 days to get the seat covers,which will stitched in Bangalore and will be send here,when the order is placed.The installation will also take around 3-4 hours.

Is the price reasonable.i am looking into the Luster ones.

On prices front they have a catalog with price put in front of each car. You can negotiate for 5 to 10% on that price. This includes fitting also.

But they haven't shown me price catalogue.
All they showed me was the catalogue/brochure for various variants and color/pattern selections.

I got my seat covers done at Carspot Near Hometown-Maratahallai-ORR. It cost me 8.2k incl steering in real leather. The fit and finish have come out really well. I chose a conventional pattern and color-matching my door and interiors. I gave the order in the morning. He got them stitched and asked me to come in the evening to have them fit. They removed the seats, and stitched the new covers using strings and metal clips. Took 3 hours. Was a great job done.
The dealer said this is the same as Gsport and that would cost some 1500-2k more. He gets his covers done at the same place where Gsport's get stitched. He offered 4 years warranty on these covers.

He opined that dual colors will not look good in a big car, and he was right.
I have seen some snaps of Gsports and also seen some live. The fit and finish are sometimes a bit wrinkly around the seat.This one ahs come out really well.
He also said the door panels have fabric fused on the plastic. If i wanted to have art leather there, they will have to paste over that, and with time it wil come off and spoil the looks. Gear boot was not recommended to go for art leather, so also gear knob and handbrake lever. Leather for these was way too costly, so dropped that for now.
Will post snaps in some time.

Congrats hrman. Glad that the carspot place worked out. The guy seemed genuine to me as well. What I like him for, is his candidness. 5-6 auto enthusiasts from my office go to him regularly and highly recommend him.

Its nice man.

But I think the driver side seat cover is bit loose or something, because there is a fold in it.
Is the fit and finish like this way or some problem with that ?
