Yaar why do you two need Blinding Lights?? You don't even drive on the highways. Infact I need the blinding lights more than you do because of my highway travelling & so I think you both should contribute some money so my car can have some nice Xenons fitted

MAXBHP, the issue is this when you ask the shop guy "...... for Fiat" he would say "not available saar" even before you say "Sienna" or whatever.

Find out what sizes are the bulbs and ask for them.

I had the same problem when I was shopping for the bulbs, Finally I started asking H1 and H7, then also not much luck. Finally from this forum I found Optra uses the same set of lights, then I started asking for bulbs for Optra... I could get in almost all the shops

Phillips Rally 100/130

Guys,

I would go for Phillips 100/130W if you need blinding lights and dont want to spend 15Kto 25K on xenons. I had used Vision Plus/Crystal Vision and Diamond Vision, However I think its a waste of money as mine are rusting somewhere in the scorpio. I have 90/100W on my Scorpio and they are superb, so I would suggest these.

Got a pair of 90/100 Osrams in my Lancer, & boy, did they improve the view at night.

Helps a lot, especially since I can't see...

The original 55/60W were really lousy. The great bit about the 90/100W is that you don't have to worry about reflector meltdown, overheating, excessive load, etc. Just fit a good set of relays & you rock!

Jk

hello JK,

As i had mentioned in my earlier post that I have a pair of Phillips 90/100W in my Scorpio and they have been there for more than a year now. Most of my long distance driving is done during the night( Gurgaon to Ludhiana). I have not experienced any sort of issue with these till now.

Do all clearlens lamps of cars get affected by anyting about 90/100 or is it just for some cars? I've seen Skoda's with hazed headlamps due to high wattage bulbs (90/100)

Hi Karthik,

This has not happened in my case. The clearlens of my scorpio are as clear as new.

Thats good to know...but then obviously it differs from car to car.

Not sure wht to do, most of the santro users on the forum use the xing, mines the older version. Asking an authorised hyundai service station wont help because they know absolutely nothing !! In fact average team-bhp members like me can show the engineers there a thing or two! Aaargh
