Well I got the Tach and Voltage Sensor connected at EVO and the Oil pressure at my regular MASS. From what the mech told me, i think it is connected inplace of the original sensor. So now the Red Indicator on the center console doesn't glow. I have to look for reading and make sure it doesn't drop or rise too much. Hope this helps.

Do let me know from where you picked it up in BLR, so i can get one too. Have been looking for a good tach for my Alto for months now.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks GPA glad you liked it. As the prev post says, I got it from the classifieds in Team-bhp sold to me my Hyderabad based member. It didn't work on his 3 cyl M800 so I got it and works like a charm.

All works and the temperature sensor isn't complicated just that it will take time to drill the exact hole etc for the sensor etc. Will get it done in my next service.

Well about getting a tach for you Alto, Kingofmyworld can give you more details on what he has installed and then you can look for that model. Or you can just call or visit Satya's place in Cambridge layout, Indiranagar and i'm sure he can work something out. PM me if you need his contact details.

Finally.....SunPro CP7901

Finally after 6 months of wait, im getting my tachometer this weekend. Its SunPro CP7901!

Amazon.com: Sunpro CP7901 Super Tachometer II - Black Dial: Automotive

I want to try DIY install. I have Carb Zen. How difficult it is?

Any BKMs which I can follow for a proper install. Any Zen veterans here who can guide me with wiring points specific to Zen.

Thanks in advance.

My Carb Zen gotta Tachometer!!

I completed the installation of Sunpro tachometer. Its 3CP7901 -3/8"

I ordered from US costed me Rs. 1800/-

My mechanic took 300 rs for installation. He was quiet clean with installation. Worked the first time I cranked the engine.

Placement is good, does not hinder vision but is at quick spot to see.

Tach is good, smooth pointer operation. No fancy colors considering its cost. However size is big enough for clear readings.

I once pumped for a sec to 7000 RPM Didn't have guts to do it again for video!

Below are couple of pics a short video.

Please let me know your feedback!

Thanks!

The red mark can be set at any RPM, usually to mark danger RPM or time-to-shift RPM.

Guys,

I've been trying to get an Autogauge diesel tacho fitted to my LDi for months now, with no success. The guy I bought it from couldn't do it, Four Seasons (Mumbai) couldn't do it, and MASS (Vitesse Mumbai) couldn't do it.

Anyone know someone who can do this, or has had this done?

Help would be much appreciated.
