Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() If you get Relay and wiring done from outside(eg bosch/roots kit) the service center can use that as an excuse to void warranty, though I have not seen this being enforced. |

| ![]() Hey guys, Im a fresher here, from Bangalore. I'm trying to upgrade the headlights on my year old Xeta GLG thats currently shod with Osram Dela 60/55 H4 - and ofcourse, I'm not happy with it. After reading through this thread, I'm convnced that Philips Rallye 100/90 is the best bet for an upgrade. But I want to try out the white light and have narrowed down to the Narva 100/90. I spoke to a dealer (junction) in Jayanagar this morning, got a quote of Rs.1300 for the complete kit - bulbs and wiring, which i though is a bit expensive. Based on TSK's advice, i decided to try out different ones (Rallye, Vision +, Osram etc.) in the evening and I shall post the pictures of the same. One query though - when I enquired about the Fogs, the salesguy suggested Narva 85W, but I didnt enquire about the cost. Was told that it does not require any additional wiring - but I'm not sure about this - ADVISE please!!, Also, whether this will make any difference to the lighting/looks? ![]() |

| ![]() the narva 100/90 cost me rs1275 with bosch relays. they are certainly very bright. about the fogs i think you should stick to the normal wattage which should be 55w. if you do get 85w i think you should change the wiring. |

As for 85W fogs, you are looking at 170W and that means around 15-16A extra current from alternator. With Fogs/Headlights/AC/Stereo on, the charging current to the batter will not be adequate and long use could leave you stranded. So just get good driving lights, no need to get those extra fogs. As for the Philips Ralleye, I got duplicate ones from JC road. Philips duplicates are dime a dozen, so its better to go towards Bosch/Osram/Halonix etc., which are not favorite with duplicators. | |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() No white light, the color is yellowish(around 3000K I presume) similar to stock bulbs. |

| ![]() Got the Narva 100/90s for my Xeta this evening. Had to pay Rs 300 for the parking lights. A total of Rs.1600 - expensive?? ![]() The first thing I noticed is that the light is not as "sharp" (if i can call it that) as the golden one - there is a lot more spread but i feel that the intensity is slightly less. This is especially evident with the presence of the yellow light around. But I must add that the high beam is pretty good!! ![]() I tried the Philips Rallyeye 100/90 on one side and this clearly beats the Narva in terms of usable light, but i wanted white lights, atleast for some time. Will be driving out of town during the weekend, will share my thoughts about the highway performance when back. Thanks a lot for all the advice guys!! |
