re: Next Gen Bajaj Pulsars - SS400 & CS400 (rechristened as Dominar)

WHOA~ These look radically better than any current gen bike. Hope they launch it this year close to Diwali! The silencer on the fully faired one looks a bit CBR-ish~

I have to say that the naked version looks amazing. Except that blunt tail lamps. Kudos to Bajaj. The faired one is still and overkill though!

The naked version looks miles better than the faired one with it's fussy details up front and tasteless graphics. Too much Tranformers induced stuff going on there.

But nonetheless, a couple of crazy rides from Bajaj!

I absolutely loved the Naked version! Any idea why the 400 nomenclature ? Are they going to change the displacement ?
BTW , I am one of the few people who loved the fully faired version as well. It would look great in all black or even the red on the naked bike.
Time to convince wifey for an upgrade.

Absolutely love the naked. Being the owner of a red & black old 180 DTSi, I am suddenly filled with this intense desire to own this bike! Would be just the perfect upgrade.

Ahh!

Loved the twins!! That's some phenomenal work done by Bajaj and team.

Finally a worthy upgrade from my old trusty fuel injected 220.

Loved the Ducati influences on the naked. Even the rear tail lamp cluster is beautifully inspired from the Diavel. All in all, this Auto Expo is turning out to be a bliss for the Indian biking community.

Drooool maaal!! Bajaj does it again.

ABS as standard like the Duke 390 is it? The CS absolutely floors with its raw design and sculpted looks.
Do we have any dates or numbers associated with it. I am keenly looking to know how heavy the CS is going to be because that could make or break the bikes handling/performance.

Wow! The naked version truly looks stunning! If this thing is priced right, it will sell like crazy. Looking at what Bajaj has done in the past, that's what they'll probably do and it looks like they're going to have a good year ahead!
Any idea when this will be available for sale?

The Bajaj track record suggests it should be in 1.6-2.0 L territory if given an option of ABS and non-ABS Version.

I remember some auto magazine said Diwali 2013 launch but that dint happen

I am expecting the launch to happen around June.

Are these two totally different bikes? the red one has USD shoks while the yellow has normal looking ones. also the rear mud guards are different.

Good design on both the naked and faired versions. With Bajaj, it will be VFM pricing and most probably would be around the 250 cc prices ranges 2-2.5 lakhs.

The Honda 250, Hero 250 and Suzuki 250 (already dead with the insane pricing) will definitely feel the heat.

They seem to be, even the console on the CS is full digital while the SS has the 200NS's console. the CS looks seem to be inspired by the Ducati Diavel. I just can't stop oogling at the bike. Rest of my day at work is now shot.

Now I'm torn between these 2. This is finally the upgrade I've been waiting for.

Hope Bajaj launches it sooner rather than later.
