To answer your question, there is a switch on the right hand side of the handlebar that functions as a master switch for the headlights. If that is not turned on, then the headlights are stuck on high beam even if you switch them to low beam through the switch on the left of the handle bar. Check it out.
Thanks Sir. That switch is to toggle between DRL and main head lights (with the left side switch to toggle between high beam and low beam on the main head light).
I was asking if we can some way make the DRL low beam only. But now I understand the naivety of that question, as the DRL bulbs itself might be high beam by design on this bike.
I feel bad for the oncoming traffic if I forget to switch from DRL mode to low
beam head light mode for some time.

Went on 14th to Khivraj Bajaj for the ecu update. They had to send the chassis number to Bajaj Pune and get an otp. However, the Pune guys were busy and the OTP came Yesterday.

Went today and got the 116 ECU update done, Felt it pulls better, but this may just be mental BHP

For info of all:- My blue indicator light just above the headlight switch is not working, so I checked with them. Apparently the whole throttle housing has to be changed. There is no separate led light that can be changed

I felt the vibes predominantly in the handlebars and the tank area. I've done about a 100 KM on the bike now and the vibes do seem to be getting lesser. Hopefully things should settle down post the first service.

I have noticed that the bike stalls sometimes when the neutral light is On as well when we release the clutch. This I observed when the neutral indicator glows even when we try to shift from first to neutral but the gear has not slotted in to neutral.

The Pulsars have a louder horn actually, my 2007 P220 had a car like horn, although OEM suppliers may change over time and I don't know if subsequent/recent ones have toned the horns down.

Yes, it's happened with me a few times too. The neutral indicator lights up sometimes even when the bike is in gear, so releasing the clutch makes the engine stall. Rare enough and only occurs while motionless, so I'm not much concerned about it.

Dominar 400 With A Brand New Red Color

As per an article on Thrustzone, Dominar 400 is to be launched soon in the eye-catching red colour.

The concept CS400 was displayed in Red at the auto-shows and not having the red paint scheme at launch seemed odd. However, looks like Bajaj will be adding this Red as part of the 2018 model lineup.

There will be a new blue colour along with red in 2018. It seems golden rims are standard in 2018 edition . Also, there will be a green shade according to a different source.

Wow!! The color combination locks a million bucks! IMHO, I think this is the best shade I have seen so far. It is more appealing than the rest of the shades. I think the golden color of the alloys are making it look even more upmarket.

re: Ridden: Bajaj Dominar 400

Does the Dominar have a relay fixed to the OE horn? When fixing an additional horn to my bike, my mechanic told me that it has one and just attached the additional horn with wires connected to the OE horn. It sounds much better now, but I was wondering why should a single horn require a relay?

A relay is always a safer bet. It has lot of benefits. Just google about relays. A fuse box and Relay helps from short circuit, allows shortest path for power supply and lastly also helps you to cut off power with a single switch.

But if they have a relay even for a single horn it means they thought about safety.

re: Ridden: Bajaj Dominar 400

I am thinking of buying a dominar and the New red shade has captured my attention rather violently. Regarding the blue shade, how different is this from the existing Midnight blue ? Looks awfully similar to me. I am referring the bike in this YouTube video review
