isnt it supposed to be the fairing before the engine ?
Not before but below the engine. Like the Yamaha RX-Z.

@cbr1000f: er...i meant in the "biblical" sense; the front portion being a bikini look-alike...

@V12: no mate, a bikini fairing means a front-fairing with a screen (like the 180, cbz, zma, adreno, etc.). the screen on the fibre/plastic headlamp cover (fairing) resembles a "bikini"...hence the term... what you're talking about, is the underbody panel (as in the rxz).

Yes, and no, you're takin the term 'bikini' for granted a bit..

Wouldn't the zma fairing be refferred to as a half fairing?

@powerslave12r: yup; also called a quarter fairing/panel...i was just explaining the "bikini" concept, with respect to front headlamp fairings and wind-screens...

as for the "xxxxxx fairing", the second lamp below the clear lens doesn't look like a xenon or a projection lamp; seems more like a mock-lookalike, or more like a "soft-beam" lamp to me...more of a styling element than functional...but those "intake dams" with the wired mesh looks downright ugly to me...

they already are, arent they? But bajaj sure would loose out on the top end as I guess karizma still looks more charming. I have not seen the bike in flesh yet so a final and concrete comment would be tough.

Hey I have a doubt. Will this bike replace the present Pulsars outright or will it continue as another seperate variant alongside?
