I guess you are not tracking the market closely. The new CBZ is just old wine in new bottle. Its essentially the Achiever or unicorn to be precise. I dont think a fuel injected CBZ is on the cards soon. If they propose to bring, it should be now............

I went to new Bajaj outlet in Hyderabad today to check new P180, The price was 65k+, for orange special edition(only color change) is 78K+. The sales guy told me P220 going to be available in mid Jan,07 and price would be 1.1L.
I guess, BAL started charging premium like special edition for no reason.

I was present at the launch function. We had an extended Q&A session with Bajaj boffins, got to ride and thrash p200 and 220 on the dynamo. The probiking outlet is in priya complex delhi.
We also had a cocktail and dinner afterwards in Vasant Continental

About the bike P220... in one word A-W-E-S-O-M-E
Honda like engine refinement, finally honda like gearshift too (superb feel and gears click into position just like a honda or yamaha) and honda like engine starter too I revved ***** of it on the dynamo, there's no letup in acceleration right upto 120 kph after which it slows down a little. You may argue there was no wind resistence but to compensate the dynamo bench roller had a 250 KG preload set! It will touch 130 kph easily on road and after experiencing the performance on the dynamo, I can say confidently it can take on ZMA anyday and beat it hands down in performance. The on-road price in delhi is ~85K's... again great value.

P.S. You guys got to see the new Bajaj advt. It has P220 in it and that old hamara bajaj (song or jingle whatever you may call it) with all the rock and jazz and hollywood style (if not better) special effects...Amazing advt...
