220 Pulsar Revised Launch Date Anyone?

The new 220 Pulsar DTS-Fi was scheduled for a Diwali Launch but seems to have been put off with just a revamped 180 Pulsar DTSi hitting the roads. Does anybody know when exactly the 220 launch is scheduled for?

Bajaj has postponed the launch of the DTSFi to Jan'07, probably during the Auto-Expo.

They've put quite some features which were to be a record first in the 220 in the new 180, though.

Good Job Bajaj. Please develop the Indian biking industry, it's progress totally sucks compared to cars.

Hero should stick to making bicycles, they are good at it.

Guys,
The dealers people here in Bangalore state launch probably in "Nov 06 IIIrd week" or "Jan 07 II week". That sure sounds strange, wonder why the 2 month gap.
The sales guy says that they are also waiting for Yamaha to lauch their 250 first.
Thats great, heres a company Bajaj (who according to rumours has already started production of the Fi) waiting for another OE to launch their product, about which nobody seems to have a clue, on the status.
.........and here I am, ready with my cash.............every two months.
Cmon Bajaj

PS went and checked out the self cancelling indicators on the new 180. They are magnetically actuated and are a real neat idea. The LED rear lights are awesome.
