Can you please post a wide angle shot showing the side-view? That way we can judge better. If it looks good, I might as well order these.

Was getting Wheel Alignment and Balancing done at MRF tyres and saw rusting near the front wheels.

No need to worry. Its normal for parts made of cast iron. Even if you complain, they would show other cars with same finding and say it's normal.

Have a look at this post :

Don't worry! The rusted parts are made of solid cast iron, and its just surface rust. Even if you see these parts after 10 years, they'll look exactly the same. Its panels and stainless steel on which rust plays havoc.

There are umpteen pictures on this forum, where people have seen such rust on knuckles and hubs in new cars. Even the exhaust manifold is mostly made up of solid cast iron and hence shows surface rust.

As long as the rust is limited to these solid cast iron parts, you have nothing to worry about. Just don't let the body panels or any thin stainless steel parts get rusted.

Regards,
Shashi

I did not take a wide angle side view shot. Will capture one and post ASAP.

Got the first month servicing done by the Nexa chaps today. They did come over in an Omni with Nexa branding and for 45 minutes did a thorough job cleaning up the car inside out and topping up the fluids. My running is limited and the end of the first month has only seen 500 odd kilometers on the odometer. What I am mightily impressed about is the fuel-average of diesel vehicles. This is my first diesel automobile and the difference is quite start - at least to me. I must complement the Nexa sevice guy named Mr. Kamath - he actually showed up at the appointed time with his retinue of helpers.

Posting the official accessory brochure of Suzuki UK. Few of the accessories are interesting and not available in our market like Projector fog lamps 55W, front parking sensors etc. Also the present alloys on Indian S-Cross were offered as accessory in UK. They have few more good designs too. Part numbers with pricing is mentioned on the brochure. It would be helpful for S-Cross owners who visit UK or have their friends / family there .
Nice. I wish they had given the Black Fuji instead of the Silver Fuji that came with the car. And what's up with the 32 GBP ashtray? Is it a ploy to get people to quit smoking?

Do they send their service engineers to home to get the 1.6 serviced? I thought customer's ought to take the cars to ASC for service.

This is a facility provided by Maruti whereby the customer books an appointment mentioning which service it is that he wants to be done.

Accordingly the mechanics come home in a car (Maruti Eeco) with the necessary equipment and items required for the service.

I have availed this twice so far, once at 60K and the other at 90K. Takes them anywhere between 2 to 4 hours depending on the service.

Water washing is either done at home with the water source used at your premises or you have to take the car to ye ASC.

Recently, there was a comparo done by Autocar India, and this will give you price of some of the commonly used components, if not all.

Maruti S-Cross : Official Review-capture.jpg

The catcon and other things are so horrendously priced in case of 1.6 because they are a direct import.
