Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

No mate, Mahindra didn’t provide any of these. Most of them are carried over from earlier car.

Re: Mahindra Scorpio-N Review

Does anyone have news about Android Auto update for Z8 ? My local dealership doesnt.

I have a Z8 diesel auto 4WD. One issue I am facing is that whenever I start my car the aircon automatically starts along with the car. Does anyone have a fix for this ?

M&M seems to have forgotten to provide lighting for the boot !

Thanks !

I am not sure of Z8L models; as most of the Z8Ls seen on road are ready stock ones which were cancelled by users and prior.

Best would be to get it in written, from Mahindra not the dealer. Reach out to them over email.
My Z8L is BS6.2, Feb 2023 manufactured and delivered on 31st March. Android auto is working without a glitch from day one. I have used it mainly for maps.

Have not seen this issue. Am assuming you do turn the aircon off before shutting the engine?

Good point. For most cars with Auto AC, it comes on automatically if it was on when the engine was shut down. If you turn it off before engine shut down, it usually won't come back on by itself.

In spite or turning it off before shutting off the engine, it again turns on automatically when I start the car.

Is it the fan or the aircon you are referring to? As fellow members suggested, AirCon will stay switched off if it was turned off before turning off the ignition. But the fan will switchon when you turn on the ignition.

This seems to be a bug in your vehicle. Mine does not do this.

I don't think this is correct. In my vehicle (and all the ones that I have owned with climate control AC) the AC and fan stays in the state it was when the engine was turned off.

Use the leveler and set it correctly, if you are driving alone it should be 0 or 1 depends on how much illumination you are used to upfront coming from your previous vehicle. When you have second row occupied, move the leveler to 1 or 2.

I have compared these lights to my Hella made halogens, metal reflectors, glass lens, excellent clarity and beam pattern they have but then technology has caught up, these are brilliant LED headlamps.

Is the rear blower on?

Could you share a clearer picture of the items/purposes of those provided by the company?

I do recognise the wheel spanner, tow hook, spanner and screwdriver. What are the rest of the items?

Not about the car care items.

I live in the town of high beams (because nobody knows how to drive) and these lights have worked wonderfully so far, despite the oncoming onslaught of brights.

In fact, I've managed to convince some fellows to switch to low beams after flashing my high beams a few times.

I guess one thing that works in favour is that these are white 5500k LEDs and not the 6000k+ ones that manufacturers do to make it look more "upmarket".

What really does it for me is the chromatic aberration prism effect at the cut-off. Looks gorgeous. Photo for reference:
