The scooter is totally camouflaged by the accessories.Only the front axles, the footboard and headlight (only partly seen) made me conclude that its a Lambretta.

Some thing wrong in there!!!
can you tell me which web says that Fiat has taken the marque LAMBRETTA??

The brand name Innocenti, was taken by our own Scotters India ltd, though they stopped production of Lambreta GP 150 & GP 200, still they get a wopming sum by means of Royality from the other users of the brand name.
ps: INNOCENTI is the company manufactered Lambrettas from Milan, ITALY
pps: this page is making all kind of trouble today ( mod's note):Frustrati

Looks like an over kill with mirrors & lights, would likt to see how the rider balanced with al the contraptions..

Its actually SX 150 Special.

The GP 200 I suspect, could be an Indian-made Vijai Super exported out of India recently, for all you know! The side-indicators especially give me that idea! :)

Nice scoots, though.

That SX 150 looks so elegant in ivory with those contrasting seats and just the right trim accents. Im smitten:)

My classmate would be dropped to school everyday on one of these, the scoot has been idle, dismantled for years now but he still doesn't give it to me:Frustrati

Excellent Pics, brings back nostelgic memories of riding around in the Vijay Super. The only difference was the placement of the spare wheel (it doubled as a back rest for the pillion) , split seat and the indicators which were not there (not mandatory in the 80's)

Indeed! In fact some DHAA members, viz. the treasurer, also own older Lambrettas. So its a very good idea!

Change that to classic scooter rally. All older scooters are allowed (that does not include Kinetic Hondas, but read on...). We have two Lambrettas, one Vespa, and hopefully Tuffryder's Runabout doing the ride. Even if you don't own an old scooter, and thinking about getting one, do join us anyway on whatever bike you own, as a guide/pace kind of rider. Send me a PM if interested.

Looks like Hillram and you will tame that cruel Geography by having your own rally!

Thank you! Prepare for plenty of pics!

We had our classic scooter rally today. Participants were:
Arun (62 Innocenti Lambretta, MYK 596)
Siddharth aka Sidman (70 API Lambretta, MEB 1222)
Gokul aka Lambro (74 API Lambretta, MEE 9418)
Yatish (rode Gokul's 62 Vespa 150, MEV 235)
Also present was Baba on his RD 350, acting as a backup vehicle. Gokul and Yatish had to ride all the way from Whitefield to attend this rally. Gokul lost his tailpipe on the way! We hoped Pat aka Tuffryder would join us on the Runabout, but he wasn't able to.
We all met up at Arun's house at Shantinagar by 4 pm. After ogling at Arun's collection, we rode to the Shell petrol pump on Vittal Mallya Road, as Arun had to fill fuel, and Gokul wanted to check his tyre pressure. Then we rode up Kasturba Road, and parked the bikes at Cubbon Park for half an hour. Then we rode out of Cubbon Park, past the GPO, took a left to Vidhana Soudha, and entered Cubbon Park from the other side. Again we parked the bikes for over half an hour, and the Bangalore Classic Scooter Club (BCSC) was born, after some discussion.
Anyone in Bangalore who owns a classic scooter can join us...even Lamby 150s and Vijai Supers made in the 80's. Bascially, all old style scoots. Send me a PM if interested. Below are photos from the ride:

Scooters India Ltd. ( Makers of Vijai Super ) did export Scooters in early 1980s to a number of countries as Lambretta.

By the side panel stickers it looks very much like a Vijai Super.
