You said 'any aliens' are welcome, but have not received any PM on the landmark !! Hope you dont expect me to peep into every garage that are on the Hebbal-Yelahanka direction, that would take me 3 days ! I will be honoured to have a glance of the mini-bus that might soon become the celebrity member among crazy team-bhp club !!

The tinkering and painting has almost taken one year with loads and loads of money going into this project.

The interiors will take some time, i want to achieve the best and i am willing to wait

The engine is almost done, waiting for one Intake manifold.

Though me and my brother wished the Bus ran on its own engine yesterday night, but you cant have all your wishes fulfilled every time.

Pending work:
1) 2 window glasses to be fabricated- broken during transit : (
2) Engine needs one LHS intake manifold
3) Carpeting-Material ready
4) Door pads-Designs being worked presently
5) Seats to be upholstered-Designs being worked presently
6) Brakes needs some job-Spares ready, waiting for the mechanic

Quite a long list, But happy its home, and happy that my neighbour has lent me his parking space.

Everyday morning i can now wake up to see the Bus standing happily next door. : )

I will do some DIY on the fittings from today evening.

Update: I picked up this part for Pavan's bus here in Melbourne today. Pavan saw the pictures and confirmed over phone just now that it is the correct part.

You still have to wait another two weeks for me to arrive with the intake mate

OT: Pavan towed the bus with his safari not suffery. One stray incident(s) does not make safari a suffery. No, I don't own a Safari but know many happy owners. Please, we need to treat vehicles with respect and not generalise them.

Yes, its true, We need to respect each other's cars on a forum like this.thankfully my Safari or any other cars for that matter has been faithful to me over the years, i treat them that way. Kindly don't generalise.

Thank you for the compliment. You are welcome any time to see my VW's

Thank you S@~+#0$# for your time. Its really appreciable. I remember the Goa incident when i had to make my brother run behind few T-BHP'ians for this part that was available. Still all the effort went in Vain. You get a 4 hr drive in my Bus for your effort

Thank you again for the manifold. I've waited all this years for the Bus buddy. I'll wait for you to return dont worry.Thats a great Karmann Ghia pic you've sent me.
