He he, thats what i just told mjothi.

For the FIRST time i sat on the driver seat and drove the Bus to the electrician-minus the brakes (sigh....) 6 kms a great drive. Next 48 hrs the electrician is promised to finish the electricals, lets see how it goes from now.

Put a little brick behind one wheel as you have done
BTW, in the old days they had an accessory which was a lever with a plow like apperture at the end. If the brakes failed, you simply let it loose and it would dig itself into the ground. And hopefully slow you down. In one very old pic of mine this device can be seen.

Cheers harit

Thats a lovely lovely microbus! All you need is a leather jacket, flowered shirt, long unwashed hair and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young!

Sirjee, you want me to deteriorate our already bad Bangalore roads. ha ha.. Nice device, but experimentation already ON for different wheel cylinders.

My alternate effort in getting the brakes done has been fruitful today afternoon

And the baffling factor being, this work done by my Tinker....lol

What my mechanic could not do in 2 days, my tinker achieved in 2 hours.

Anyways, hoping to run it in the city on the 15th August (I Day & my bro's B'Day)

And

T-BHP Drives, very sooooonnn.........

Pavan, I dont think I need to drive down to your place for checking this beauty anymore. I saw your big boy yesterday and today. Today I found him standing idle near your electrician (visible through my flat window !!). Atleast next time you are around this area, I could see who owns all these german beauties. I am sure you know my number, or atleast I know your number ends in 699, or have you changed again ?

Oh that was unexpected, I thought your electrician himself might have brought the van from your place. I always wondered how these guys do their work at that tiny place. I will PM my number !
