Magaa, kindly look for Oval deep dish hubcaps with a VW monogram there in Singapore, its very likely that you find it there.

And thanks in advance for getting it.

If you dont get, your high security number plates lying with me will never reach you

Hi Pavan,

Once more congratulations on your restore .

I think if you paint the steel rims in steel Grey color or chrome paint instead of body color it will look good without wheel caps as well.
I don't think it was in body color

I have one question on the UPS in your bus , Can you share how it is fitted
and if possible the circuit ?
I mean is it just as simple as removing the input transformer and rectifier and connecting to car battery keeping the UPS battery intact or some other trick ?
What is the wire gauge used and how much is the load on this UPS ? Are you able to run induction cooking plate using this ?

Regards
Amit

Thank you again buddy.

I am presently experimenting on the color code for the wheel rims, there are so many combinations available on the web, i presently prefer painting it white, that'll be only after i get all my oval hubcaps

Presently 12 guage wire is used to connect the UPS to the 90 amps battery. No tircks (he he..) the UPS is playing tricks on me presently. Need an expert to have it working properly.

Is the 12 G wire connected from battery to UPS DC input that is after step down transformer and rectifier that is replacing UPS battery with car battery ?

Thank you very much guys

Few small parts required to complete the restoration- not very vital though.

Presently the bus is running fine, good idle, decent brakes, good charge by the dynamo.

Anyways, first week of next month i'am at Mumbai, will look into each nook and corner of the city to find what i want
