FIAT 1100 Club Bangalore [FCB] started over 5 years ago, celebrated their 5th Anniversary on 16th March 2014.

We were really excited to see 48 FIATs participating, starting from early Millecento to Padmini as well as 118NE.

Our special guests were Anandh (H14) and Team from Chennai who drove to Bengaluru in a Super Select, Delight and aPunto as well as Rahul (Scarlet_Rider) from Hyderabad who came riding all the way!

Also was a German National at the Meet, who works in Bosch Bangalore, he was excited to attend the meet. He owns classics in his home town, including a Lancia!

At the end was entry of KPS with is Plymouth. Plymouth too is now a FIAT as Chrysler is now part of the FIAT group!

Thanks guys, it was awesome meeting all of you!

Well, the car in question is being restored. Not sure of the engine as yet!

In Kerala RTO doesn't permit any kind of engine replacement. Is it legal there??

KA 53 N 5282 and MDB 2591 are one and the same. I had to change the number since the car had to get it's FC

I had been to Bangalore on my Bajaj Discover 135 last weekend. It was great to attend the 5th Anniversary Meet of the Fiat 1100 Club-Bangalore [FCB]! Congratulations to the founding members Arun Srinivasan, Karthik Makam, Karthik B Mallur, Sujith Thomas and Chetu Munna on this milestone!

Wishing you guys and the club many more Fiatful years ahead! Will be posting pictures that I had taken later.

Special thanks to Arun Srinivasan for the ride in his superbly restored Premier Padmini Economy and to Chetu Munna for the ride in his super smooth Premier 118 NE. It was a pleasant surprise for me to be a part of the cake cutting along with Team-BHPian H14! Never expected this! Thanks FCB for making it a special day!

For the record the car had the following numbers commencing from the day it was bought

USQ 3645 from 1956 to 1961 while at Lucknow and Simla
MYE 8095 from 1961 to 1963 While at Bangalore
GDA 1767 from 1963 to 1965 while at Goa
MDB 2591 from 1965 to 2009 while at Coimbatore
KA 53 N 5282 from 2009 onwards here at Bangalore

Yes I'm aware that the MDB regn. wasnt the original one of the car...but twas atleast a period one! :(
How I wish we could buy age-related plates here like in the UK.
