Nice to see the pictures of the Fiat meet especially of MYB 5061 with all its original stuff. Sad that I could not make it this time due to another rally at the same time. Did Manish bring his select?

Ha ha no not this time as well. Still loads of work to be done on the select. And more over the fitness is pending as well.

Now with the new rules, I would have to pay quite a sum to get her on the road.

Manish I feel your select is complete and definitely deserves to be displayed in the rally. Please do not wait till it is original to the last bolt. In a lighter vein I would say please bring your car before we become vintages

Well kept engine bays were eye candy

Could someone explain the arrangement of the 3 exhaust pipes for the 4 cylinders?
Couldn't get a clear explanation when I was at the meet.

The Valve layout from the radiator side:

E II EE II E

This is how the head and manifolds are designed!

The Cyl 1 and Cyl 4 have extreme pipes of the exhaust manifold and the center pipe caters to cylinders 2 and 3.

The firing order is 1-3-4-2, so the second and third cylinders never have overlapping exhaust valve opening, so the pipe is always carrying the same volume of exhaust gases without choking

Wow!

MYB 2148 and KA05MA118 look gorgeous indeed.
CKW 3159 looks delicious in black with its brilliant white wheels and fat tyres!
MYR 862 with its two tone paint job and lovely alloys and fat tyres also looks wonderful!

(As do the others, but these few stand out!)

MYB 2148 seems to have the "Krilo Paint Job" look that was much touted when we were kids in the 1970's - 1980's.

And KA05MA118 looks very like one of those gorgeous Lancia Fulvia HF's which used to rule the Rally circuits in Europe in the late '60's and '70's!

Lovely cars. Beautiful maintenance.
