She is a stealth, who ever has brought it must be a proud owner. Why would someone sell after investing somuch of money and intrest? or may be this was done to sell. These cars look more a muscle car when modded, my thought is to have my Delite (Appu) all original and PP (Pammo) modded.

Other pictures from the FCCH Meet - 31st October 2010

Hello Folks,

I had forgot to post a few more pictures from the FCCH Meet on 31st October 2010. After the FCCH meet at Mr. Mushtaq Hussain's haveli, he took us to the place where the restoration of his Austin 70 was taking place.

The pictures might be off topic for this thread but anyway posting them here as they were taken during the FCCH meet.

Regards,

Rahul Waghmare.

Very neat work going on. You FIAT fellas should follow such procedure while restoring a car rather than just a over coat.

Well, a few such 'fellas' have indeed followed such procedures, if not more that that.

Do go through both these threads entirely:

Each restoration depends on the owner who has his budget, passion, creativity and time.To my knowledge, restoration has no limit and can go to any extent !!!!Its just not applicable to only Fiat restorers.

Restorations apart from budget also depends on the owners intrest, knowledge and MOST IMPORTANT the GARAGE (Denter, Painter, Mechanic etc) they choose. Before starting a restoration we need to see their work style and select the best person in the business then only the outcome will be astonishing not by looking at an Austin and advicing people to follow the same way, we have enthusiastic people who have spent sweat & blood apart from all what requires to make a magic machine. To quote we have an enthusiast like Shiva who is working meticulously on his FIAT which I admire the most, hats off for his pateience and perseverance to achieve what makes a perfect car. I am sure his car will be the best example to set and a peice of pride for FCCH.

Wonderfull, Nvkale, it looks really Superb, please continue, it clearly tells out the message that we have preserved the heritage car, otherwise now a days all new cars change owners every three years.

This sticker reminds us of the love we have for our cars, hats-off to you.

Infact every sticker is a sort of an advertisement,FCB or FCCH !!! Doesn't matter.
@Pavan..FCCH logo was designed by Karthik 1100,who is the founder of FCB.This is just for your knowledge.
Narendra, your caption looks splendid. Its a passionate statement that most Fiatians will understand.

Narendra: The logo looks nice! A little space between the logo and the words on the either side of it will look much better.

Narendra saab your statement reflects the satisfaction, joy and reliability which the car is delivering till date, above and all it's your car, your wish don't go by what others has to say.

It's also a definate inspiration me and to all the FIATians who are still driving these faithful cars, who knows someone out there might be inspired with these words and take out the car which is still standing idle for decades rather sending it to a scrapyard.

A Neglected Fiat 1100 Elegant

Hello Folks,

About half a kilometer from my home, there is a place where a Fiat 1100 Elegant has been lying for many years. There is also a Premier Padmini along with it. While the Premier Padmini looks like it is in use, the Fiat 1100 Elegant is completely neglected. I am attaching pictures of these two cars. It feels sad to see these cars in this condition. The positive part (my guess) is that since the Elegant has been lying there for so many years, the owner does not have the intention of sending it to the scrapyard.
