Thanks for all your wishes folks! It really feels great to have such support! When the FCCH meet for this month was initially scheduled on 24th October 2010, I was a bit disheartened as I am going out of Hyderabad from 23rd to 26th October. But all thanks to Shiva! His special request to postpone the meet to 31st October made me feel very happy since I never took part in any FCCH meets till date. Great to hear that Shiva's Elegant is going to be a part of the meet! I can hardly wait for 31st October to see the line up of Fiats and Premiers!

- Inducting Rahul's Premier 118 NE "Hot Rod" into FCCH
officially.A short narration from Rahul about the
technicalities and mod jobs of this "distinctive" 118 NE.

11.30 - 11.45am - Heritage tour of Mr.Mushtaq's Haveli and taking a look
at his huge Vintage car collection.He has recently
restored an Austin 7,Made in England.

11.45 - 12.00pm - Line up of Fiats and Photography session.

12.00 - Depart to Pariwar Dabha (Owned by Mr.Mushtaq)

12.30 - 2.00pm - Lunch at Pariwar Dabha (self paid)

2.00 pm - Head back to city

Hello Everyone! Please take this as my confirmation for attending the FCCH Meet on 31st October 2010.

Ram, the schedule looks perfect, the only change being that the short narrative about our Premier 118 NE (1989) will be given by my father, Prakash Waghmare. He does almost all the work on the car on his own so he is the best person to talk about it!

Requesting all participants to assemble at the rendezvous point on time to avoid delays.

As requested by Mr. Narendra Kale, I am adding our entry in the list. (Let us post the pictures of the actual meet as it will add some element of suspense till the 31st of October 2010!)

Thanks for all your wishes Karthik! The picture of your Fiat looks stunning! Never has anyone been so anxious to see a Premier 118 NE like you! You are really a fan of this car! With just a few hours to go for the FCCH meet, I am headed for my garage to take the car out for a small ride just to double check everything is fine. Will post the pictures of the meet later in the afternoon. Until then, keep revving!

Indeed a very nice car. Those are not the original hubcaps btw- they sure never came out in 1987. The original hubcaps would've been the 'old' padmini ones only, ie. like these:

It was like a real Fiat Pariwar meet but the day belonged to one gentleman's oozing passion for Fiats and their ownership-Mr.Waghmare,our Team Bhpian Scarlett Rider's Father.It was simply an experiance listening to Mr.Waghmare's experiances with Fiat 1100 and his stupendous knowledge of these cars.The day also belonged to Rahul's Premier 118 NE,which looked like a flight cockpit with an array of gadgets,which would put Knight Rider's KITT to shame !! It had all the qualifications of a "Boy Rod" as our own Bala called it.
Modified Aircons,Free flow Exhaust,RPM LED Meter,Temperature controls,Fuel controllers,etc etc to name a few.All these have been custom bulit by Mr.Waghmare !!!

It was a great meet in the dirzzling rain on a Sunday morning as we all reached Mr.Mushtaq's mansion.A display of Vintage cars greeted us-Morris Minors,Standard Herald,Ambassador Mark II,Baby Hindustan,Lambrettas,Jawas,Vespas and ofcourse 2 Fiat 1100 Elegants.
The place was landscaped perfecly for us with garden ambeince and a bandstand kiosk seating,where we adjourned to when it started to rain.After tasting the Hyderabadi "Tehzeeb" with Irani chai and Osmania Biscuits,we had a field day checking around the vintage cars of Mr.Mushtaq,finally landing up his Austin 70,a pristine British car that he was restoring.
We finished the meet with a typical photoshoot and wound up for a Fiatful Day !!!
FCCH is proud to have an enthusiast,Team Bhpian like Rahul and his father part of this club to make it more interesting place and look forward for future meets.

Lovely pics Ram bhai. Mr. Mushtaq seems to be a very passionate automobile admirer. His mansion too is very creatively designed with those bandstand, creative artistry on walls and the lovely ikka i suppose. This must be one of the most memorable FCCH meets.
