Our dear friend, well-wisher and Rolls-Royce guru John Fasal has written in with a correction. BRN 6666, chassis 87TA was sold by Jack Barclay Ltd. in London to H. H. The Maharaja of Tripura for the sum of 2150 pounds. John has the original sales order sheet dated the 17th of June, 1936.

If another Mayurbhanj car, it might be one of three Ghosts - 118MG, 55EM or 78TG. 55EM was a hardtop, so ruled out. 118MG was rebodied in 1926 with a smaller hood, so it should be 78TG - I don't have the coachbuild details though.

This is likely to be 78TG as well. Unique wing lamps on top of the REAR wing.
And wing lamps + scuttle lamps at front.

The "Horse Head" hood ornament is on PII, 89MW. It also had the "Rooster" as seen in the Jaipur Club photo, now on the Rajmata's Bentley.

The chassis was sent to Barker & Co. the same day. They built a cabriolet (tourer with division) to drawing number F9392 and body number 7318.

The order was from His Highness Balbhadra Narayan Bhanj Deo, the Ruling Chief of Keonjhar State in Orissa (born on 26 December 1905; I haven't been able to find out when he died) - he succeeded on 12 August 1926.
