Hi Folks,

Been on a holiday trip to Coorg and Sakleshpur- me , wife and our two pet labradors. We stayed at Mugilu- a Homestay run by one of our Team-bhptian Chandan. It's a good experience. Homestay is in coffee estate with two cottages presently. Total serenity, green on all sides, a stream nearby and bald grassland mounds. Best part is almost all days in the year, you will experience fog in the night. Not too chill and not too warm.

No TV to relate to realist world. ofcourse you have mobile network bandwidth. Two days after hectic schedule will be refreshing. Given here the Details :

No; of cottages:2
Max accomodation:8

Tariff:
weekdays:(checkin sunday thro thursday) 1600/head/day
weekends:(checkin friday thro saturday) 1900/head/day(includes all meals,morning & evening coffee/tea)

Snacks & beverages extra.
For more details,contact:

Sapna:9845451055
Chandan:9845008875

PS: Chandan offers a discount of 10 % on the package especially for Team-Bhptians. I got it too.

Sorry, didn't see this post in time. Hope your friend got decent acco.

To my knowledge there aren't any good options near the airport. But there are decent hotels in the city close to the highway, like the new Ginger hotel in Kottara Chowki.

We went on a family holiday to Shirdi & Mumbai on 2nd last week.

Shirdi - Hotel Bandhan
Location : On the main road only while going toward Mandir from Yaatri Niwaas
Rate : 1400/- for a room of 5 bed (incl. taxes)
Remark : Was Okiesh. Do not try in-house restaurant, Quality it was indeed pathetic. Late and poor customer care, Rooms were clean enough. Staff not that nice.
Recommendation : Yes, if you are 5 or more people. Do not pay in advance as they may be a bit rude if you ask something additional later on.

Mumbai - Hotel Sun-n-Sheel
Location : Andheri - Near to airport, Opp to some some Skoda showroom
Rate : Initially it was 3300/- + taxes but got a good corporate discount on the same.
Remark : Very nice rooms, Courteous Staff, Room Service is good enough. Very poor service in in-house restaurant, had to argue twice with captain for late service.
Recommendation : Yes for sure.
