Pepper Grey is rarer sight than Candy White. So my vote goes for Pepper grey.

Vineet,

Pepper gray is a fresh color compared to the candy white which is very common on Indian roads now a days.

So, i would vote for Pepper gray

The smoked headlights in candy white Vento looks great. Pepper gray might be a new color but would be common in the coming months whereas you can't go wrong with white.

Cheers!

Congrats Vineet. When the car is getting delivered? The 50-50 offer seems to be a nice one. And finally which color you have chosen?

Finalized Pepper Grey.
I think they are going to complete finance paper and all by 20th and they said delievery before 28th.

Guys i thought i would be getting reverse camera and GPS navigation in highline but they are asking 50K extra for that.
Can some one validate it.

congrats on your booking ! I thought the navigation unit costs < 35k or something? can others confirm? Anyway, I am not sure how useful the Garmin
unit is, and, probably the warranty will not be void, if one goes for something else from outside.

MRP of the Garmin GPS + reverse camera is Rs. 28k. All dealers were initially offering it for Rs. 28,200 including fitting. In December when I bought my car, it was actually given free. Can't be Rs. 50 k unless you are looking for an in dash reverse camera + navigation.

50K?

It costs 28500Rs in Kerala (if you are opting along with delivery) and it can be fitted later to any variants including older Vento's but they will charge an additional 500Rs extra as labor charge which is = 29000Rs.

I would also like to share some feedback from one of my friend on his new Vento with GPS and reverse cam. He said, the camera is of not much quality and some times it takes 'some seconds' to react to a reverse gear. By the time the camera started functioning you might have halfway finished taking reverse . Also not much good feedback on the GPS device they offer. He said, altogether this package is not even worth for 15K.

So, it is your choice.

Hi folks! I am upgrading from Swift vdi to either Skoda Rapid tdi Elegance or Fiat Linea Mjd Emotion. Heart says Linea and mind says Rapid. Suggestions??

Go with what your heart says :-)

Rapid is no doubt a good car, but IMO the Linea looks, rides & handles better. The only drawback of Linea is it is underpowered when compared to the Rapid. Fiat A.S.S should now improve as they are opening their own service centres.

I have no experience with Skoda A.S.S, so will not comment on it. I'm happy with the Fiat service though contrary to General perception.

Mind over matter.. and everything else. Go for Rapid TDI. You'll never regret it. I'm sure Linea is a great car but it lacks the "punch" Rapid has. And if you want to stamp your presence on road, Rapid wins hands down.
