Rahul... Dont worry about the EMI part.. At any point of time, The expenditure will out weigh the Income.. the higher we earn, the higher we spend..
so If you think you can strike a balance then go for it.. Also no point in driving your loved car at the age of 50
As long as you are not going to get into the housing loan trouble you are safe to buy this car

Hi,

Can some Aveo owner help me to identify what month/year the car was manufactured in ?

The dealer said that the chassis number I am getting is ".... M7 HC 10903".
He is sure that it is a 2007 model but not sure of month. He is trying to figure out.

M7 could be March 07 or May 07 ?

Will there be any difference in cars manufactured in March or May ? I insisted that to the dealer that I should get April/May make. He ordered car from the GM factory and it has now arrived fresh Is it possible that GM could send a model which was manufactured two-three monts back ? In case it turns out to be a March model, is it worth accepting ?

Thanks.

dnt worry ksr, you are getting March 2007 Aveo.
the no., after M denotes the year.. M7 means 2007 and
the no. after H denotes the year.. HC means March... 1-Jan.. B-Feb, C-mar and so on.

All this was told to me by kamy and from my experience, it is true.

the exact mfd is also mentioned there.. just opened the bonnet and just above the grill, you can see chassis no. and mfd month/year.

Any Aveo after Feb has incorporated all changes. gearshift, speedometer.

you can checkout the speedometer dials of the new Aveo in kamy450's album.
So if you have same dials, then its a new Aveo.

My preferred list in order:
1. Aveo
2. Verna
3. Fiesta

Aveo is a good looker(wish they could have done someyhing on the tyre size though). Aveo is more refined of the three, better interiors, and very roomy.

You are absolutely right when you say Aveo is more refined car then other two.

I am new to forum. Found this thread very interesting.
I am upgrading from 7yr wagonR to big car. My current hot list is
AVEO, FIESTA, and VERNA. I have seen these cars, and TD FIESTA only.
I like the drive, but interiors are a big let down. also its 50k costly as compared to aveo.

for verna, i went to nimbus, noida. looks like those ppl are not very keen in
more booking. there was only 1 car. that too lowest version. Nothing for TD. Even for TD one have to wait. verna is very costly with same set of features.

I liked aveo-LS's interior. Yet to have a TD.

gava, you would find a lot of points about the pros and the associated cons with the vehicles you have mentioned, on this thread. May not be very easy in reaching a decision based only on the views expressed here. You would be better armed with regards to what to expect when you step out for your Test drives though.

Good luck, and let us know who came out on top in yet another contest among these.

I disagree.
My list is :-
1. Fiesta
2. Verna
3. Aveo
Fiesta is the best in terms of performance, handling and FE. My colleague went in for an Aveo 1.4 and I for a Fiesta 1.6. He gets FE of only 9 to 10, whereas I get 10-12 with AC in Hyd traffic.
