Never met him but he was the reason i got hooked to T-BHP.

The first thread of Sam that I read was his Superb buying experience thread. It was just Superb! RIP Sam, and may God give his family the strength to cope with this tragedy.
Saddened to hear of Sam's untimely death. May his soul rest in peace. My condolences to Jenny & his family.

I still remember his loan thread and others as if I read it yesterday. My condolences to his family and dear ones.

I cannot believe that Sam is no more,i used to love his blogs..This is bad on God's part.

The man who was full of life & contributed some amazing knowledge on this forum and else where. He taught basic things like posting in correct English and brewing a nice coffee. he taught me how to enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

Can't believe this. I was reading his pumpkin thread just a few days ago. RIP Sam. You will be missed.
We've all lived in his life, in his shoes, by the power of his words here, or on the blogs. Even though we've never met or interacted in any manner, it feels like I have lost a close friend, one who would have something crazy to tell you every time.
God speed, friend.

I recall his first post (in ICE obviously) that said, "I am what you call the expert. Ask me". Sam's car description in his Lancer gallery was hilarious. Who can forget "I walked around the car, opened its back door and checked - yes, the umbrella was there. Paisa vasool" from the Superb thread? His writings showed that he had a kind heart, if you have met him once you will know you met a special person.
Robin will have nice company, that's the only consolation. Peace to you, Sam.
