Ramie dude. I don't know if there is or will be any HPI club in Mumbai. A club is formed by you as rc lovers. So yes, go ahead and make a club. You can gather a lot of Mumbai rc racers from BHP and make a club of your own. It will be a good start at promoting the rc fraternity in our country. You guy scan then get together and do ytour races and maybe be a big club someday.

Rc 4*4 Jeep

Hello All,

I have gone through many of the posts & Pics on this thread here. Really a treat to the eyes.
Since I am new to this thread, I just wanted to ask if I can post the Pics of my RC JEEP? It is not a scale model, but a working 4*4 RC JEEP CJ5 with Low & High Gear ratios.

Regards,
O_M

Well, don't get dissapointed as my jeep is not as high-tech as others shown here with engines & suspensions. It's an old, battery operated, MADE IN CHINA toy that is more than 10-Yrs old by now. (Pics are shot at home with my mobile camera & the JEEP is also kind of dirty.. beautiful though). But still I wanted to share it's pics, cause it got some nice technology considering its age.
So here they are

That looks nice!
reminds me of my NIKKO electric RC I had. Just gave it away a few weeks ago.
Pretty good for the age.

Yeah, thats the connecting drive shaft from Rear machine to front differential.
also notice the Ball-UV joint at the front tires (Pic: 1).
It has got the differential action, cause if you move front tire clockwise the tire at other end will move anti-clockwise (only when both are free in air)

Sorry, I cant upload any videos as I haven't shot any & about the specs, I can only tell that there are two DC Motors: 1 small for steering & other at the rear for motion. requires 8 AA size dry cells, runs up within a day only.

There is a small knob at the rear side to shift the gears from 4W High to 4W Low (Pic: 5)

Glad that you liked it, considering the condition & photo quality

1/10 scale Touring Cars........

Traction Control is a must with 1000Bhp per ton power to weight ratio.

A Typical 1/10 scale turing car weighs 2.5Kgs and powered by a 2.1cc engine which produces 2.5Bhp at 45000 RPM.

Advice Needed

New to the RC thing. Saw some stuff at a shop here. details below - is it a good buy at prices quoted by shop (1THB= 1.25INR)

1. Plane
- Kyosho CALMATO beginner Air Plane Kit = 5200 THB
- Radio FUTBA = 4800 THB
- Engine O.S Japenese (46) = 3800 THB
- Fuel = 690 THB
- Fuel pump = 500 THB
- Propeller = 200 THB
- starter set = 750 THB
- Assembling cost = 600 THB including glue
- TOTAL = 16,250 THB

2. RC Car
- Land Cruicer Chasis - 10800 THB
- 2 PL Futaba - 2700
- Battery + Charger = 1300
- Speed Control = 1200

Are these good prices or should i consider buying this stuff in india. what will they cost in Delhi.

Hey guys. I see there has been very little action since I have been away huh? Hmmm. Well, time to liven up this thread.

For a start, enjoy this. I didn't have green colour with me so I did this Dirty rusty effect. Its a dark mist of grey backed by bright red to give the effect. I have included the small miniature, the unpainted body shell and the complete and trimmed finished Truck.
