Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

Got out of office after a long meeting, and what a surprise.
Its a lot cooler and so happy that Bangalore is back.

Cheers - it'll be fun to drive with windows down today!

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

Usually, I like rainfall very much. But today is sad. My folks are out for summer vacation and just today morning I piled up my one week's clothes into the washing machine and had put them on the terrace for drying. Seeing the rain playing hide and seek in Bangalore for the last two weeks, I was confident it was not going to rain. I dont know what state they are in. Need to go home soon
P.S. I dont even have an underwear to wear tomorrow if they are drenched

Light rain-drizzle all the way from Bannerghatta Road to Bangalore Golf Course.

Absolutely love the drop in temperature!

Temperature has dropped more than 14deg (ah what a relief), but the rain has caused another problem. Everybody's driving in moron mode!

Nice rain on and off around Bellundur Sarjapur road.
Also had a decent harvest (Rain water harvesting) . Not a lot, but a good start. Hope it rains all night!

Re: The "It's raining in my city" Thread!

I guess this rain last evening & night in Bangalore was god sent for quite a few folks including the ones playing the IPL, both teams shared a point each that upgraded them to top four from 5th & 7th places, also love the way the white whale looks now in two tone color brown & white

Found out that Hella Dynaedge isnt as good a wiper as its made out to be, it was making awfull amount of sound when sliding across the windshield

Well. It finally rained in Chennai. It has been predicted from Wednesday. But finally it arrived today!. Not a lot but a good 20-30 mins of moderate rainfall. Much needed rain for the Chennai folks. It has been extremely hot the last week.

Yes, I'd been keeping an eye on those cumulonimbus clouds over the past few days and it was good that it finally rained in Chennai today morning after a long time! Spent a good 25 minutes watching the rain after getting up. Felt 'refreshed'!

But it's back to business as usual...Sun is out in full glory!

It rained for about an hour around south Bangalore yesterday night. Very cool now at 5am in the morning. As if someone switched on a giant AC.

Finally meterological departments reports came true, signs of pre monsoon much earlier than expected
Very very cool in Bannarghatta road, enjoying the cool weather inside home watching IPL.
