Of the four my pick would be the third (Tag Heuer) or fourth (Longines) although I am not very fond of Stones in men's watches.

I would suggest to look at Tag Heuer Formula 1 Collection too.

Here's one of the better selling ones of the Formula 1 Collection

https://www.ethoswatches.com/product...14-ba0842.html

Even for Longines, I would suggest looking at other options of the Watchmaking Tradition Collection.

You can visit either their websites or something like Ethos Watches Website and check out the whole range.

Its just the looks and a change of usual brands, nothing beyond that. Hope you know Fossil, Guess etc. all come from China itself. Even my iPhone

Yes, even Armani but that´s the thing with fashion brands. I am not dissing it because it was made in China, many Casio´s are cased in China as well. These fashion brands usually don´t develop anything, they just stamp their brand on the dial.
DW is just a Baha copy, you can get a real Baha like a watch from Braun for less. And unbranded DW´s sell for 20$.
A real watchmaker like Seiko is a much better bet.

One stupid question - what is a baha watch? Is it a type of watch or a brand? Also I am hearing about Braun for the first time. Sorry but I am new to watches hence asking about them

I believe the quoted post refers to the Bauhaus school of design, which is known for its clean, minimalistic dial designs. For reference, check out the Junghans Max Bill edition watch, which is a classic example of a Bauhaus design. Max Bill was one of the well known graduates of the Bauhaus school of design, and the Max Bill Jungians watch was made in collaboration with him.

Link for reference:

https://www.junghans.de/en/junghans-...ll/detail.html

There are tons of watches from various watchmakers which follow this aesthetic, in some variance or the other.

re: Which watch do you own?

Put my beloved Seiko SKX013 on the newly acquired Oyster bracelet.

Which watch do you own?-01.jpg

Which watch do you own?-02.jpg

Compared to the stock Jubilee bracelet, it feels much more solid and provides a 'masculine' touch

Nice! the SKX is a classic, and the only thing which put me off from getting one for myself is the fact that it has no manual winding. Which means that if it were to lie unused for a day or two, I'd have to reset it every time, including the day and date, which is not acceptable to me for a watch in this price range. I really like the aesthetics of the Pepsi dial model, the SKX 009.

Mind sharing how much you picked the watch and the oyster strap up for, and from where? The strap looks solidly built. Please do share the links from where you picked it up.

Exactly. But do note that the power reserve on the 7s26 movement is approximately 40 hours and hence it has to be worn just on alternate days to avoid the hassle of the watch getting stopped due to insufficient winding.

A good friend of mine from Singapore bought the watch online from creationwatches.com and gave it to me when he flew home. I think it costed around 13.5k INR. Aliexpress.com has a wide variety of watch bands at jaw dropping prices. The one that I bought is this.

Your query was answered accurately by a fellow bhpian but I would like to share my own bauhaus watch which I would recommend, a Timex Fairfield Chronograph.

Timex really makes some tasteful designs. The company has a really long heritage, and I have grown up with owning several Timex models. I still have two of them, and they are solidly constructed. You are right, this is a good example of the Bauhaus school of design (or at least, a variance thereof). Nice watch! Will look awesome on a dark brown leather/suede strap,I reckon.
