" HMT Excel automatic"- the 4 hand ( pointer) watch . great watch to WATCH !!
This Excel has been out of production for a decade or two, but we managed to get a fresh one for our trammway

& Doubt no one would have imagined guys replicating HMT watches!!
Yes" HMT Pilot", hand wound simple looking watches are replicated by some guys down South east
But some how me got a couple of PILOT watches for trammway & me

Believe it its Original.
BTW , Please try to get a Manual WIND watch for me also

Folks, just came across this website, 'www.bodying.in' which deals in many Int'l brands of watches. Quite surprised to know such a website existed.

Yep!! the pic of EXCEL was up to the mark, this great HMT watch deserves more...
even this pic is not showing much details ( particularly the 4 hands working on single axis)
sure will post better pics tomorrow

I am a big fan of Casio since my first Casio watch served me for more than 12 years and is still going strong.
I currently have 3 of them. The first one is a dual time watch, the second a formal steel watch and the latest is a PathFinder.

I do not think I will need any more watches in this life and if I do, they will be a Casio.

Dunno about Mumbai !!
But to get good old HMT watches, just approach Company ( HMT) owned outlets and ask for even outdated models, they will arrange with some other dealars, even if they don't have stock!!
Seiko 5 s.....>>>> available but secound hands only !!
some of my HMT watches:
Janatha ( hand wound), Pilot ( HW), Rajat ( India's first Automatic watch), Kanchan ( Automatic- 4 microns gold plated) , Sona (HW, unisex,1 inch) & some ladies watches ( both HW & automatics)
