Bought A similar HMT SONA in white dial,my dad fell in love with it and hes been using it since my purchase.
He's usually a lazy person and far from technology ,i meant hes a quartz watch guy.
But i dont know after seeing this watch hes like i dont mind winding it daily and use it.
I can simple say its got a good decent looks and the best dress watch ,value for money watch all in all.

I got a tissot automatic prc 200 from a friend. He paid 36K about two years back from the showroom (ethos or something similar from vizac). I got it off him for 15K so happy with the deal. Nice watch and I like automatics. The only pain is that you need to wear it once in three days max for the full day. Not easy but such is the price of an automatic watch

i have the tag heuer carrera calibre 16 day date ,i bought it in last year august,
i want to upgrade to the same variant but monnaco edition,this was launched a month later,what do you think will be the depriciation on the old watch if i trade it????will the dealer do an exchange???

The dealers get around 30% on the list price, hence the best you can expect is a depreciation of 40% on the list price.

Some watches do appreciate, as the manufacturers keep increasing the prices every year - Rolex and Patek Phillip being the most famous, but I doubt that Tag does.

To get an idea of the value of your Tag, search the net for pre-owned watch sites.

Am planning to gift a tissot prs to someone. What are recommended online stores? Or do you recommend I buy from a physical store? There is a ethos store in Ahmedabad. Wanted to see if there is a pricing difference online?

Try Ethos outlets. In Bangalore, they are available in the Commercial street outlet (near Safina plaza) and Orion Mall. So, I hope you can get them in Mumbai outlets as well.

If buying from a store negotiate for at least 20% discount on the MRP. Most of the retailers of higher end watches get 30%.
