re: Which watch do you own?

^^Cool collection. 'Dial' watch, is it the brand name?
Apparently the Timex Humvee has a twin brother in the G-shock Humvee.

nah. it was custom made for our company, so no manufacturer's name. i didn't know what else to call it. it had a dial face, hence 'dial watch'

Hey Scorchy,

I have the same watch in my collection too. As a matter of fact, it was my 1st watch when I moved out of India few years back!

It indeed looks really good. I still get compliments on my watch.

Rolex Daytona is one of the most copied designs. Most have quartz movements (which can be identified by the second hand moving in one second jerks), but some high end copies use Swatch movements. The Daytona is extremely expensive, > 15K dollars while the lookalikes start at 200 dollars!

re: Which watch do you own?

that Rolex GMT Master is a superb watch indeed.
do you not like Breitling as a marque? Some of their watches are supremely elegant and highly functional.
I love Automatic/ Mechanical Watches too - compared with Quartz watches they last a lifetime and beyond.

re: Which watch do you own?

This is a wonderful heirloom indeed (or will become an heirloom in the future). superb watch. superb marque.
Panerai started off making watches for the Royal Italian Navy a very long time ago and today enjoys an enviable reputation amongst the Prestige Watch marques! Good show and all the best Sam!
