I really wish we could have a pin badge (the ones with a butterfly clip) that I can put on my lanyard and let everyone know how proud a bhpian I am. I have a few people who put up their clubs, forums or various membership tags on their lanyards.

I would really want to see a teambhp badge on my lanyard..

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

Why is the T-BHP site not responding to the scroll wheel on the mouse where as other sites it works perfectly. I noticed it just now, evening it was working well.

Nice. The embroidered logo certainly adds an awesome touch. Thanks!

Could you share some pics of what you mean...?

Honestly, some of these are tricky simply because it's unlikely we'll be able to manufacture the items for ourselves. That being the case, we'd have to start with an existing (and high-quality) product, and then customize it. Finding and organizing that is difficult.

Not heard anyone else complain of this. Have you tried restarting your system? Is the problem still present?

I have been facing exactly same issue since a couple of days. Not only in TBHP, but on TAI forum too. Looks like it's probably an issue with Google chrome. When I open the same page by right click + new tab, it works perfectly.

Other users, please confirm. It looks to me an issue with Google Chrome browser though, mine is even becoming non responsive too these days.

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

Quoting from my post in Superb Car Cleaning Polishing Detailing Guide Thread-
Please make the part of Superb Car Cleaning Polishing Detailing Guide thread Sticky where the products are arranged as per budget range and rated by Bhpians.
For example, the Shampoos, Sealants, Wax, Polish, Rubbing Compound, MF cloths, etc are arranged as per their Price Range and Rated/Recommended by Bhpians in a Single Post where it would be beneficial to all.

This will help in getting necessary information in one place (read post) and avoiding additional posts enquiring about products.

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

My wish-list based on other team member suggestions and my own (as Rehaan said, maybe customize some of these that cannot be manufactured):
1. Non-slip mats.
2. Sunvisor Tissue Box Holder
3. Sport Pedals
4. Retractable Front/Side Sun Blinds
5. Ability to posts images directly from Team-BHP Mobile App
6. There seems to be a bug on the mobile app that doesnt allow me to view messages. When I select Messages menu option, it shows "Loading" message but never actually loads. All other menu options work.
7.Provide related links at the top of the page so that users don't have to scroll throughout the page to find the link. This is especially helpful when one is revisiting a thread. Again, there may be a lot of reference links to accommodate at the top but if there is a way to he links to together in a user-friendly way, it would be useful.

For the merchandise section, we can probably add a poll feature so that you can prioritize procurement based on that.

Hmmm, strange. It could be an ad that is somehow affecting this.

The next time it happens, could you please take a screenshot of which ads are being displayed when it happens? Thanks.

This would indeed be helpful, but unfortunately creating & maintaining a list like this isn't something we can devote time to. However, if a BHPian wishes to compile such a list, it will be more than welcome

Unfortunately we no longer have support for the mobile app. Strongly suggest you use the SmartPhone Skin instead!

Not sure i understand. Are you talking about the "Similar Links" box that is usually at the bottom of a thread page?

I agree to the suggestion. More explanation. When i go to last post(read: bottom of any post )appearing say, in new Post link, It will take to the last post of the thread. after reading the thread, if I have to go to New post link again, I need to scroll completely up and then again click New Post link.

If there can be a link at the bottom of the page as well, then, it will help

I think you are talking about something different from what Content Reactor has requested.

Hi Rehaan,

Thank you for responding. Let me try to illustrate: For example, If there is a useful reference link given in a post (PDI checklist, Excel sheet) it's usually buried within the responses, say page 20. I was wondering if useful (not all) links can somehow be placed on top of the page for quick reference instead of scrolling through all the pages to hunt it down. I hope this makes sense.

Cheers!

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

You want something like an index of specific posts in the opening post?

That is a nice way of doing things, but high maintenance

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

Hi mods.

Just had one suggestion. If and when you get to test a car with a number of variants, can you please devote an entire post to illustrate the differences between the top end and the lower variants?

Would be very helpful if this happened.

Thanks and regards,
Vishy

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

It is about the watermark of Team Bhp which are there on the pictures uploaded by the members.

Sometimes, a substantial part of the picture or graph is not visible because of the watermark. For an example, I am uploading a picture from one of the threads on the forum.

In this graph, I am unable to read some data written over the x-axis. So, sometimes it gets inconvenient to read. Can this be rectified?

Thanks!

Re: Suggestions for Team-BHP from Team-BHPians

A transparent watermark would do the trick.

In fact, that would be a watermark. Is there any reason it has to be so bold and solid?
