If not one year then two years or three years. And do note that i am not talking about submitting post but about logging in to your account. The user names posted on my last post was just the users who have not logged in/visited from last 1,2,3,4,5 and also from 6 years.

But what problems do these dormant members create?

And One's unacceptable would be another's acceptable!

With the Moderators having the supreme authority to decide what is and isn't based purely on their interpretation is quite biased - a public forum should allow the public to decide.

Hence, I believe the self-governance route could provoke greater responsibility among this society! - Food for thought!

Like a public road should be used the way public feels?

I think you are missing the point. See the post below. If there was greater responsibility, then what is the rational explanation behind many posts being reported?

Can I ask for something? More than a suggestion, this is a Request. Can we have a special section in Shifting gears for the YetiBlogs? I am a huge fan.

There is already a special thread created for YetiBlogs Fans and the content is not that much so that mods should create a new section for that.
Here is the link for YetiBlogs thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/shifti...e-jayenge.html

@iamback: That's only one of his numerous blogs. Try searching for YetiBlog! You'll know how much content is there. He hardly posts anything about cars (well, none that I know of) and he has 6000+ posts. Ask any moderator how much content the Yeti has!

The test drive section contains the negatives, positives and other brief details of the cars in the market. Can you add the same for cars that were discontinued? It will help the second hand buyers

For eg, Old Corolla, NHC, etc.

For this you can search for the Threads opened by the Owners that would be helpful.

Can we have an extension to the edit-post time before the "last edited by" line comes up?

It is currently hardly long enough to spot the spelling mistakes, let alone add an afterthought, or deal with a cross-posted post.
