Since we 4 are coming in one car, there would be no place for any extra person but surely I can guide someone from Himayath Nagar and probably someone can tag along and can go in a group of few cars if someone stays nearby.

I would be going through Abids, Koti and have option of going either through old city or the other route that goes from Kanchanbagh. So anyone who's not sure of the route can coordinate with me and I will be more than happy to guide.

I think posting about meal preferences and other details is becoming a problem as one member is accidentally deleting others

I have created a google spreadsheet, every one please update. I have already entered most of the details. if any thing is missing please add.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?k...GTTYxZlE&hl=en

Right now, anyone who can see this link can view/edit. We can freeze this once everyone had entered these details and restrict access to protect privacy. If you think entering mobile/vehicle number compromises your privacy then skip it

You won't believe it I was just thinking we need to do this as it becomes easy to take a printout and pass onto the forest dept, was going to request someone to do this as I don't know how to. Thanks a lot !

Hi Imran,

This effort initiated by Deepak has to be an ongoing project, week in and week out, to be able to achieve the target goals.

The first visit on 6th/7th Mar 2010 is to explore and create and set up systems for recurring trips by many more new people who will join in and for repeat trips by many of those who may have enjoyed getting involved.

There is a strong need for a very high level of dedication to the project not just initially or only for one visit but on a perpetual basis.

Since this project is going to see light through the Team-BHP umbrella, do you think we should have multiple threads for the project like one main thread devoted for discussing the project exlusively and not the trips and one thread for each trip date seperately to avoid confusions (on the same lines like the bimonthly thread of Hyderabad meets).

I wish this endeavour a grand success to an extent that it becomes a model which can be replicated across the country!

PS : All Others, do not worry if this trip has reached its housefull and you missed it. You can look forward to join in the future trips to carry forward the good work being started off by DKG.

I can't get enough of Google

I have created a private SMS channel on google. I am sending invites to all the people who have entered the mobile numbers on the spreadsheet. Access to this channel is by invitation only so no issues with privacy issues.

To send a message to every one registered with the channel just send this SMS from your phone (you must have already accepted the invite and become a member)

send saveaptiger <your message>

send the above SMS to 9870807070. please note in the above SMS message, "send" is part of the message

All participants are requested to update all the information in the following table. The table has been structured with the objective of making it easy for us to tell them the types of meals/quantity for breakfast lunch and dinner (bottom of table gives us the final tally on types of meals required)

Thanks guys

Deepak and all,
Would it not be better if we all can start as a caravan and head to Mannanur from Hyderabad together?
As some will be coming via old city and others through Mehdipatnam-Ring Road- Chandrayanguta- Barkas....we can all meet just outside the city at CRPF school, which is just outside Barkas.
Anyone game for 12"X18" stickers which can go on both doors of our vehicles, I will happily lend the attached photograph shot by me. It is an awareness campaign so let the let us display the message. We will share the costs.
Please Help in Saving AP's Forests and Wildlife-tiger-face-1.jpg

Regards,
Fazal Saab, I would like all of us to go in a group caravan style.

On the poster front, even though I would really like to have it on my car, I don't have any space available in the car to stick it and hence will have to opt out. :(
