My Puma Ultra Triller shoes are getting worn out thanks to walking/jogging on rough terrain. What would be a decent sub 7k shoes to replace that?

Get any running shoes from Addidas Bounce and Boost range.

They are really comfortable and light. Most importantly there cushioning is really good compared to the shoes of Nike in that range.

I had gone to a store to check them out and really liked them but then bought something from their boost range online because of their holi sale.

Apologies Sir, I just saw this query.

I have immense respect for Wildcraft. The way they have created an Indian Outdoors Brand like Patagonia or North Face, is simply a superb achievement.
Their products are of high quality and very fairly priced.

Decathlon also is worthy of immense respect. They have literally democratised sport and the outdoor lifestyle in India. Excellent products at excellent prices.

Unfortunately my bank balance and urgency made me buy the mi shoe which was on sale for 2k.

Most of the shoes/brands mentioned have been bookmarked for the future when things settle a bit.

One of these shoes is more colorful, and costs about 5 times more than the other. However, given an option, I would return the Hoka's and stick with the cheaper shoe if looking solely for comfort. The Hoka is fantastic, no doubt, but the Ergon is absolutely the same in terms of short runs, or gym work. It is, however, heavier, which could be due to being made of Leather, and a denser sole.
I just wanted to try out the Ergon shoes, after having seen a multitude of reviews on Amazon, and they are excellent, especially if you consider the price, which is under 3K.

My <1.5 year old literide gave up. It was supposed to be completely water proof. But the gum paste gave away. For 3.5k that Crocs charged, it doesn't last as expected.



On the different note, those using Woodland how long does the footwear last for you? My current sandal is 6 years old, the previous one was 4+. Very frequently used/abused, they look old but don't fail and remain very comfortable. I really need to find a reason to replace them.

The classic Crocs too last really long. There are a couple of them in the house and they range anywhere between 5 to 12 years.

The new Crocs with new tech and what not may not last as long as experienced, hence my query ^^.

Even though I prefer woodland shoes, I tend to find that they bite at the rear when I wear them. My father wears woodland shoes all the time, and his last for around five or six years. At the end of their lives the treads aren't even worn off, but the pasting just gives away.


To the people wearing Crocs, is there any noticeable between the classic Crocs and the cheaper imitations by Liberty.

My Woodland all weather sandals are more than 5yrs old, only the velcro has come off & the foot area has gone dark due to heavy usage. But I still wear them occasionally, though I bought the same pair in a slightly different shade last year due to travel. These things inspite of being a bit expensive last really long & discounts if any are rare or very minor!

Which can be termed as Classic Crocs? I find all of them too expensive, though I gifted my wife a pair last monsoon. Waiting to see how long it lasts!

For Crocs, the unibody designs might be safe and long lasting(5 pieces in my family are going strong after 3+ years). Can't say the same for models with pasting.

On the other hand, the leather sandals from Woodland endured rains, slush etc and still lasted for 4+ years. Current one has absolutely no damage after 6 years but looks dirty/old. For similar price I paid for the Crocs, I would rather get myself another Woodland. Btw they do run some discounts on Myntra.

I'm not a "sneakerhead", and don't even think such a word should exist.

My thought on this is that the whole sneaker culture thing is pretty lame. You get yourself what is comfortable for you in a price range you can afford. Not at all a fan of sneakers being a fashion statement or accessory!
