I have not tried it from last 1 year so cannot comment now
We only use it for emergency purpose ie 200 bucks for car
I have been using this pump for the last 1 year . Seems to me to be pretty decent . I have no complaints . I always fill premium and I had no way to understand if they were cheating on quatitity since their machine shows the litres dispensed and well as they provide a bill always . My car indicator also makes no difference between same quatities filled from Shell ( near Whitefield ) and this Green Glen Layout IOC bunk ( I recently tested it back to back ) . In my opinion its quite decent .

Attempt by the petrol station in HSR, at the corner

Hi

This petrol station is on the way where you take a detour because the Agara flyover is under construction. I was on my way to pick my father up from Madiwala, I live in Springfields, Sarjapur road.

I got down, and asked for a fill of 1000/- and presented my card. The bloke started doing it, and they tried the old trick of bringing my receipt for a signature. While I tried to sign the receipt, I realised teh bloke at the pump was fiddling with the display meter to reset to the actual amount. I saw he was doing this at 750 and caught him red handed. He was too dumbstruck to respond, but kept saying "I did not do it." I put my foot down and said "I ain't signing or moving my car, until you take the meter back to 0 and fill in for the balance 250." He eventually had to give in and one of the staff actually apologised for the misdeed. I would stay away from this station henceforth

THanks
Prasad

The same cheating after distracting the customer is there in almost all brand of pumps in bangalore. but not so often in kerala . some guys told me the stock clearence and checking from the company is very strict there. Does any one know how to make the comany get notified for this kind of mis deed by distributors

I do not understand how checking by company can minimise or prevent such an incident. The pump attendant is simply putting lesser amount of fuel and you pay extra which goes directly to his pocket. nobody can detect this fraud the next moment. Let alone a while later.

There is this company owned retail outlet of BP at Mugappair-Ambattur road in Chennai. Whenever I fill here, I always feel the fuel indicator shows less than usual.

Its kind of sloped entry and I thought that might be the reason fuel indicator is showing less. But I was always debating this reason myself.

On one occasion, my wife was watching the meter reading, when all of sudden another attendant came and asked me for cash/card? While I attended to it, another attendant showed up and deliberately called my wife like - madam - cash/card?
After this, when my wife looked again at the meter, it was showing 500 already. It was around 350 when this distraction drama occurred. She was quick to notice the time to fill from 350 to 500 was rather short. She said that there is some fishy thing in this by mapping the deliberate distraction caused by the attendant and the quick fuel filling time. But as she was not sure, we just discussed between ourselves. But she was sure there is some foul there.

We drove out and were discussing it all again. Suddenly it struck me - Usually while the fuel dispensing is nearing the end, it will be slower to not exceed the set target limit. With that considered, it struck that the deliberate distraction is to loot.

I made it a point never to go that bunk again.

But in this case, it is company owned retail outlet and I paid by credit card. How do they take the extra money looted?
I guess the loot root should have gone very deep.

The only possibility is they(attendant/Owner) will take out the remaining Quantity of petrol from the dispenser and sell it separately.
What I heard is the Companies like IOC and BP do a regular stock check .

The Govt owned petrol pumps in kerala is comparatively reliable than the others .

Any feedback on Annapurna bunk( IOC ) between Lalbagh west gate and South End circle ?

I've been filling up diesel from them and they also set the meter to zero , show me that it's been set to zero and then start filling.

Wanted to know if anyone else has been filling up from there and on the quality of fuel.

A lot of bunks in bangalore are cheats. I for sure know the BP in Udupi restaurant signal in BTM and the HP pump on Hosur road that is the first on the right side when going from Silk board to Electronic city. These 2 bunks as far as i know are notorious. I never fill my car with these bunks. A couple of times I was forced to fill on my bike as I was running very low on fuel. And on both occasions these ppl cheated/tried to cheat me.
The best place to go is Shell oh Hosur road. Saves you peace of mind.

they are big time cheats - had a bad experience couple of weeks back, and have never returned there.

Shell is the best place to go.

This is one of the best pertrol bunks. I am filling the petrol from there for almost 4 years now, everytime autocut full tank. And the FE I get is always consistent and never got cheated for any reason.

But, I always, get out of the car and watch from zero till auto cutoff, as I dont want to take them for granted. But they never distracted me while doing this. So, I will give them the full credit.

There are two shell petrol bunks on the way. One right after Mekhri circle. You have to take a U turn under the first magic box.

The other shell bunk is just before the Jakkur flying club. Once you cross Hebbal flyover, take right on the second signal (lights), once you take right, take immediate left on the service road, thats where the bunk is.

Thanks Selective. Any pumps on the same side of the road? I know I'm lazy to actually go the other side.

Is this the BP bunk just at the turning point?

How is the Indian oil bunk near the Mantri building adjacent to the HSR bus stand?

My dad always fills his car there. It's been more than 4-5 years I guess. He's really happy with the service and the petrol. If I go there in my dad's car, the attendants ask me where my dad is!

However, I prefer to fill my bike in the Kaveri petrol bunk a little down the road. At Lalbagh West Gate. Been extremely happy with the service there until it was demolished for the Metro.
