I agree with that. Shell fuel bunks have a good customer service. The attendants are polite and everything done by them is like they are given a rule book and have been asked to stick to it. I have seen everything same all the time.
to SHELL.

Shell is always perfect.

Have any of you guys tried the IOC bunk in Gokula (Jalahalli Service Station) I mentioned earlier? Do they still maintain the same standards?

I had a situation wherein the petrol bunk guy in Koramangala- Bangalore (IOC) wanted to charge me for 32 ltrs. I knew he was overcharging for atleast for 5 ltrs hence i protested & paid him.

Since the fuel indicator was not showing reserve before filling up, I quickly checked up the fuel tank capacity which was 35 Ltrs & also adding 5 ltrs of reserve capacity told the guy his calculation was incorrect & managed to get back Rs250.

Did you mean the IOC near BEL circle (BP or HP? and IOC petrol bunks side by side) ? I might have filled around 1000 ltrs of Petrol from there over the last couple of years. According to me, its one of the best places I find comfortable. Staff is well-mannered, never crowded, near to my house... I might find many positives.

Whereas you should try the HP and other stations on New BEL road. You might have to face the long cues, AIR is mostly 'out of order', if the balance is Rs.1 to 3 range, they might try not giving itself. Worst I could spot so far is the one near Shiva Tires, Opp Barista. Pretend you are on phone or checking your tires, you will be cheated on the fill, guranteed !

Dear All,
Can we make an excel sheet with the names and locations of all the Cheating petrol Pumps in Bangalore and another of all the good ones faced so far? I'm sure it will benefit us all. Is there some way to upload excel files and keep updating these regularly? Imagine the amount of money we will all save and the loss of business for the cheating pumps

Cauvery Petrol Bunk in front of Lalbagh West Gate has been our favourite for people in and around Jayanagar. The owner (I guess) was an Ex-Service man. But nowadays I don't see him much.

Also, the Bunk has been reduced to just One Dispenser, because of the Construction of Metro.

Hi, yes. That is the one I mean, Jalahalli service station (IOC). The HP bunk adjacent to that one is best avoided.

Avoid Indian oil (IBP) petrol bunk near Vijaya bank layout (Behind IIM B). It is one of the worst bunk's i have ever seen in my life. They never do a proper "zero" before start and never provide exact quantity. I even doubt about their quality of fuel. You will never find a manager there, nor any supervisors. Bunk is fully managed by their qualified staffs .

Yup i saw something similar at a IBP pump in RT Nagar yest.

I was standing in front of the meter when he called me near the car, when i came back the meter was at 200. But he couldn't do much coz i had already asked him not to start fueling until i went back to the meter.

When i asked him why it was at 200, he said that the electricity had gone. But i asked him to start from 0 and he did so.

But one thing that i noticed was that even thought the meter was at 200, there was no data in the ltrs box. So maybe something had really gone wrong.

Irresponsibility by Shell bunk, a new bunk opened last month near my place(Basavanagar) it was my second fill there and this time i dint get out of the car as i was in a hurry that day...

So the attendant filled and i made the payment and left about half akm people around started to point towards my car and some one passing told me that the petrol lid was missing and this got me into a shock! got down and checked to my horror the attendant had not put the cap back and the lid was open... i went back.

The moment i reached the bunk called the manager and he got mouth full from me, the attendant who filled comes slowly with a cap as he had realised what a blunder he had done, i had to stop myself from thrashing that moron there..

Anyhow the Shell guys apologized and told that this guy was new and blah blah...

Its scary that how a untrained person is trained, i mean at the peoples/customers cost! really sad!!
