Quite surprising to find this on an accord. The new accord is so overpriced that the only buyers of it that I forsee are hardcore honda lovers that are either environmentally conscious and/or want to be very understated. For the same money one can get a C or maybe even an E-class which is far more flashy.
Hence, this case I don't get how an Accord has huge a loud font plate that to on a regular number thats not even worth bragging about

Felt like stopping and handing over 200 rupees to this Skoda Rapid owner for getting his number plate fixed. Poor guy although has been driving a "Skoda", does not have money to spare for getting a new number plate which had a crack and was pasted together using brown tape. Trust me, from the looks of it, it was clear that he's been driving like this for weeks, if not months, together!

That's DLO 1.

The owner has retained his number since Fiat/Ambassador Era and instead of writing DLO 1, he might have thought DLO 0001 looks more stylish and VIP.

It's DLO 0001 according to the MVD website.

Perhaps his missus did not approve the cost for fixing the number plate.

I have experienced once though. I had to battle it out convincing her for approving.

Yeah, it is showing DLO 0001 on parivahan.gov.in.

Earlier, I checked on "Car Info" app and it says, DLO 1.

This was clicked by my good Friend at Coimbatore this morning who is a pioneer at many skills be it automobiles, cameras, bicycles & the list goes on.

Anyway, presenting the mother of all weird number plates with a perfect example of improper upbringing by parents...
