Two weeks back I drove from Mumbai to Bangalore in about 17 hours in one day. Started early at 5.00 am that helped me to avoid mumbai and pune traffic. A 200 km stretch near around Tumkur is very bad, and I dont think the highway in this part will improve in another 1 year. The rest of the stretch is excellent.

15 hours of pure bliss from Chennai to Vizag (850 odd Kms) with me driving a Palio D all the way on the GQ. We had approx 1 hour of punture repair break - relaxed while the punturewala was hammering away at my alloy wheels..

Recently I did Mumbai-Goa (650km) with a single break of 20 min for lunch. Without a break it was 400km (at a strech) and was still going strong, till I was threatened by my family that they would prefer jumping out if the car does'nt halt immediately.
It was fun.

Pune - Goa and Goa - Trichur

I did Pune-Goa (520km+) with two breaks of 30 minutes for breakfast and lunch. I left Pune by 5 am and reached Goa by 3.30 pm. Lost much time after Kolhapur, near Gagan Bawda ghat because of poor roads.

Then on my onward journey to Kerala, I started from Calangute by 7 am and reached Trichur by 4:30 am on the next day. I took 2 fuel stops and three short food breaks. Total distance covered was 750+. We lost our way a couple of times. So the distance covered is not accurate.
