Techno, i think this thread is for those trips which were made without breaking for the day (without sleeping between 2 drives)

Everyone will take food / fuel breaks in atleast 500km.

I agree with akroy as well on this one. Also see the following from first post

Just curious to know that how many kilometres you have driven without breaking journey. Obviously it doesn't include food, drink or loo break but it includes nap.

It was fun.
Whats the car you have driven? 400 kms without a break should be a troubling the passengers more than the passionate driverrrr

Trivandrum to Bangalore 720 km 5am to 8pm, actual running time 12 h 10 min. Got stuck in Hosur road traffic otherwise would have got to B'lore earlier. Driving alone, tea/snack/loo breaks every 3 hours or so for a few minutes each, lunch break about one hour.

You cannot keep spinning for 1500km. You have to stop for fuel isnt it? Probably Basu didnt switch off the engine but he did stop. I wonder didnt basu pee for 22 hours. I am sure he did that as well may be with engine on. Hence you cannot say it is nonstop. Thats the reason I was saying No matter what, you have to stop in 500-700km atleast for fuel if not for anything else.

I had driven about 320 miles (~550 kms) on a weekend getaway from PA to TN. Guess driving is a lot easier with the automatics in US highways than with stick shift in Indian roads I guess. So may be this is not really a big deal.

1,200 kms in 24 hours

1,200 kms, 24 hours, Sivakasi to Goa in OHC 1.5, 8 years back when I was younger!.
Five friends, non-stop, there were only food and loo breaks.
Also made it to Bombay from Goa and back again 1,200 kms again in two days during the same trip.
We made around 3,800 kms in seven days.

1100 Km, Jodhpur to Mumbai in approx. 15 hours in my humble ikon (routine stops for fuel/food/loo). Have done this 4 times without any rash driving. Out of these 15 odd hours, 2 hours were spent in mumbai alone

Doing a Goa-Jodhpur-Goa run next month- approx. 3500 KM.
