Friends, closing the poll on temp basis as the participation seems to have reach at CAP. 18/19 Feb seems to be the most favoured date in the poll so we will take that. In next 4 days we should close the destiation and bookings have to be completed. I am in talk with some resorts in Chikmagalur where they have capacity upto 30 rooms in cluding family & dormatory.

Request others too check in your place of choice for accomodation details.

The all meals inclusive price is around 1750 per person per night.

The place looks decent but the website itself mentions that they can accommodate upto 30 people with 3 bedrooms and 1 dorm. I don't think it will suffice our requirements. We should be atleast 50 people.

Not 50 we seem to be touching ~70, and way its going we probably would need stay capacity of ~80 folks. I doubt if it would be easy to get someplace like that.

Do we want to revisit the option of night stay (If its getting difficult to find a place of stay)? I am all game for both BTW but more inclined for 2 day affair, but the numbers look huge.

Don't worry guys, I got quote frim two resorts from Chikmagalur where they can provide ne space from 65-70, and given me pricing for a minimum commitment of 55 pax, so if we don't find a place anywhere else we are heading for Chiks... Not to mention its a great place too, so the time has not come to cut down the nughtout option yet.

Yes I saw that. but as mentioned earlier, another BHPian is going there tomorrow.
While booking this for him, I spoke to the owner of this property and he told me that he has constructed a new building which will accommodate more people.
Anyways, as mentioned before, once I get a true feedback on Monday, I'll post it here.
