What a fantabulous meet!!
And I dont have words to explain it.
As had been already mentioned above by the others, this was by far the best.

At the outset, I will first thank all the gracious ladies who joined us for the drive meet. If not for them, I don't think this would have been so big a success.
Naveen has already explained in fine words about the drive meet and how it progressed. I will just add some snaps from my side

It was a mistake, MistakenGuy.

I really enjoyed the meet. Especially those hilarious chats with everyone was cool. I hated the local transport part. But the meet covered all the damages.

I would also request the respective members to send my regards to the ladies for being very patient. They deserve a pat on their back.

Really enjoyed the meet. These places were unseen by me yet. The resort ambience was nice, beach was just superb. I like such secluded beaches rather than the crowded Cherai n all.

Lastly, it was great to be in the midst of like minded petrolheads. I had a nice chat with sree83 on German cars n stuff. Get that laura back in your garage man.

Wish I could have taken my car too along. @Prashob, next time, my car and thanks for the ride this time.

Had a wonderful day. Thanks to all for coming and thanks to naveen and his wife for arranging the resort. It was a beautiful place.

First, I had no idea why we came to this place. I didn't know I was going to have the surprise of my life!!!


This was really something. I don't even had an idea this was coming! The biggest surprise I ever had. Thanks to all, especially dhanush, naveen and his best half. It really meant a lot to me. I can't thank you enough guys. You just made my day better

The 2nd of June dawned.

Not the kind we were used to of late. Rather a wet squishy kind. The kind where you just want to be cozy under the blanket all day. I mean too busy for anything but sleep.

But am the one who is up first, for a change I might add. Wake up sleeping beauty, a wonderful day of surprises and new friends awaits us, hums me to my sweetest. ( She might read this guys, so excuse the honey tone)

"Ten mins more" says she. Grrrr. I know she is been wanting to throw this back at me ever since we entered the golden cage of marriage and ever since the first day when I have felt no urge to save the world by waking up to the alarm. I mean is there more joy to be found than that ten mins of forbidden sleep?

But not today of course. For today we have promises to keep and miles to go. 30 miles to be exact as 50 kms by 1.6 is...uhmm... then maybe not too exact. Was never good in maths which is why i left math at school and the reason why i refuse to do more than two extractions for a patient. Two teeth? I thought you said one and one more. Oh darn thats just two eh? Never mind, you dont pay for extras. This ones on me.

Back to the day. All my cheerfulness was however shortlived. For I could hardly see beyond the gate of my house as it was raining like hell. First task of the day? Wash up the car, what else? Out comes mother dear. Why do you have to waste water. The car is going to get dirty with the mud in all this rain anyway. Non-Bhpians I tell you. !

Ready at 10AM sharp, we reach in front of ICICI Kalathipady, waiting for jacs. Hardly have I engaged the hand brake when a Xylo pulls up. How many many times have I seen the same T Bhp stickered Xylo passing by, wondering who it was. Hugs and handshakes done, we figure out the best possible route to Arthunkal which was where we would be joining the big convoy. Call up Naveen and confirm that they are on time.

The journey till Arthunkal was uneventful and what made it all the more exciting was that the rain Gods decided not to mess up with Bhpians. They knew this meet was too good to be messed up. When we finally parked our rides at Arthunkal beach , the rain had almost stopped.

A cool breeze was flowing in from the sea and the wait for the rest of the Bhpians started. Little did we know that they were also enjoying the same breeze and doing the same wait albeit on thycad beach. A few phone calls and the confusion was sorted out and we eventually gathered in front of Arthunkal church for a photo shoot with our rides.
