Gr8 planning for the meet. But I don't think that I will be able to make it on 29th. Under a bit pressure with office work which will be there till Pujor Chuti. Too bad for me.

However my uncle stays in Bolpur very near to Mark Medows. May you need some assistance on the hotel bit do let me know.

Have a great trip. Would have loved to join, never been to Shantiniketan. Unfortunately working throughout the weekend, as usual.
OT - Had the Santro stripped a few hours ago, ICE install from 7.30 am today.

did that. Hotel Camellia: 03463-262043

they asked me to give them a call by Sunday and make the bookings if possible. Indian Airlines Crew have a meeting there and they have booked 13 rooms already (28th - 30th). if we make the bookings after Sunday - then it may be a problem according to them.

Rates:
AC Rooms: Rs. 1450 + 10% Service Tax + 10% Luxury Tax (Includes Complementary Breakfast + Bed tea)
Non AC Rooms: Rs. 1150 + 10% Service Tax (Includes Complementary Breakfast + Bed tea)

it will be great if anyone of the senior members can call them and enquire about it again - i think Sunday is way too early to confirm. we should atleast confirm by 22nd IMO.

Confirmation by this Sunday ? Well in that case we may need to look at another hotel. Either stay there altogether or split up between Camellia (whatever no of rooms are available there) and some other hotel.

How many rooms will we actually need ? Methinks 10 should do as of now.

all the best - but if everything goes well according to your plan - try to make it to the meet.

@ shuvc - it will depend on the final head count. actually, the camellia guy asked to confirm by this sunday - but IMO 22nd should be the deadline for the confirmation. but then again what do guys have to say.

we can always split up and spend the night there if accomodating in one hotel is a problem.

It's taking place at home. Half the work has been done today. The installers will start again at 7.30 am tomorrow. They have to quit by 10 am as they need to get back to their regular jobs.
