But if we book in advance I am sure we can get the rooms we want.

Room Type ---- Double Occupancy --- Single Occupancy ---- Extra person

Deluxe room @ double occupancy + 1 extra person comes to 720/- per head.

And then there is the executive suite also.

Let's have some opinions on which of the above we could go for. Once a consensus is reached on room type and headcount, we can go for bookings. Actually we dont even need an absolute consensus on rooms - people can opt for what they want and we can book accordingly, I guess.

As per the poll, weekend of 30-31st Aug seems to be the winner - so date is confirmed. I see that the following people have voted for this option. Can they all be taken as confirmed for the purpose of booking rooms ?

Yes, the suite would be more bang for the buck than the S.Deluxe.

Oops. No nick, no predetermined list. I just took the names from the poll. But forgot that even though you did not initially choose this date, you had later sent your confirmation via PM.

OK, so Chennai count remains same ie. 11, after adding nickatnite and removing shekaran who is a Pondy guy, and wont need accomodation.

You sure of that fiery_enzyme ? We might not take up a drag challenge from the chennai-dragger aka headers, but this is one challenge we do not let slip away, by any means.

Condor has PM-ed me his preference of Deluxe rooms. I also vote for the same, since we would be using the room only for crashing at night (atleast those that do not passout on the beach itself) and for a shower.

Another thing we need to discuss is what time we leave from Chennai. Blore guys plan to leave Saturday early morning from Blore to reach Chennai by noon. So, do we all leave after lunch from Chennai or a little later in the evening 4PM or 5PM ? We need to tell check-in time to the hotel guys.

Blr guys would have to travel more if they have to come to chn. Its shorter to come to pondy directly instead of coming here.

How much is the km difference between the 2 routes ?
